He came home at about 1.30pm. He wasn't as bad as expected and suggested we had a walk up to the local pub for a couple of drinks this afternoon which was nice.
I expect it was heir of the dog 🤣🤣🤣
Just got back now. The dog has enjoyed the walk and the change of scenery. They spoil him rotten in there the staff.
Just drying out in the kitchen now. Curry smells lovely for later.

I love how most pubs accept dogs now, all our locals do apart from Spoons, won’t even let you sit outside with one but let free range children run amok 😡
Glad he’s home safe and sound and none too worse for wear 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
That sounds like a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
The people that I work for have a dog friendly undercover garden at their cafe where dogs are welcome and there is a jar of dog biscuits under the counter if the dogs are allowed a treat.....

I do think that a lot more places are dog friendly now. We usually find somewhere to go wherever we end up.0

Not a no spends day today.
We are going out for breakfast. The local pub are doing BOGOF on breakfast in the run up to Christmas. It's on £4.99 anyway. So we are giving it a try.
Then we need to head into town to pick a few bits up. Mainly birthday cards.
Roast pork and all the trimmings later on for dinner.1 -
Breakfast in the pub was very acceptable for what it cost. Two full English, two orange juices and two coffee's for under £10. Will definitely try and go again while it's on offer.
We didn't go into town. Neither of us really fancied it and there was nothing pressing to buy.
Instead we went for a walk at one of the local country parks with the other half's sister and the youngest child. It's been a lovely day for walking. So mild.

I should really get round to buying another proper camera. I broke my last one on the boat, it had one too many soakings with salt water
