Yes the dog will be at home with me while I'm working from home.

Not sure how long it will be for this time. It is being reviewed after the Christmas break.

I would quite like to get to the end of January before going back but we shall see.

It won't be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having jacket potato with cheese for my lunch and dinner tonight is stewing steak in Yorkshire pudding with vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing (to dry in the washer dryer)
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the van
    • cleaning the van
    • walking the dog x 3
The other half is going out in Sheffield tonight with some friends. He is staying over at a friends house to save him having to get a taxi back here so I have waved him off this morning and won't see him again until sometime tomorrow afternoon when he has sobered up enough to drive home. He has a budget to work with but it remains to be seen if he sticks to that or not. It is a generous budget so I should think he will manage.

Me and the dog are having a quiet night in and getting some stuff done around the house. He is being a bit mardy this morning because his dad has gone to work without him. He is currently curled up in his kitchen bed sulking. Sure he will come round later on.

Oh and I have taxed the Hyundai this morning. It always makes me laugh when we have to go through the motions once a year of applying for the tax when it is zero rated so there is nothing to pay :)

Ha my Mrs is going out tomorrow night. I hadn’t even considered setting her a budget lol she usually winds up buying the two girls she’s going out with drinks all night though. Love the packing him off to his mate’s for the night and see you the next afternoon what I should do with her. I have my boy tomorrow so she’s getting a taxi back home. Something wrong with me these days I don’t want to go out beyond a lunch / dinner somewhere or to events etc really struggle with drunk people these days so the send to mate’s option is quite appealing lol

It saves me having to drive into Sheffield to drop him off, then drive back home again and then drive into Sheffield again tomorrow to pick him back up as well. He can just take the car and have done with it. I don't need it today or tomorrow morning. Me and the dog can walk to wherever we need to for 24 hours I'm sure :)

Plus I can't be dealing with his snoring when he's drunk and I'm not.

I'm quite looking forward to a night in just me and the dog. Must be getting old myself!!

Haha you’ll be fine or you’ll have to go to the shops in the van. I usually get them staying here or have in the past told my Mrs it’s not happening I know at least one likes more than a drink and I don’t want it anywhere near me. Don’t want drunk people anywhere near me tbh either.
