The washer dryer didn't dry again so I now have wet washing hung in the spare bathroom with the extractor fan on. It should be dry tomorrow, it's warm in there.
We found a load of fluff in the filter so at least we know why it didn't dry. Should be fine next time.
Just got the van mats in for a quick wash now to freshen them up before we head to Norfolk. The van has a few weeks off now until we go away for New Year's.0 -
Is Norfolk your next trip?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Yes it is. Nothing planned until then. We are busy for the next couple of weekends and then Christmas is upon us.Sun_Addict said:Is Norfolk your next trip?0 -
I so nearly posted earlier and said “clean your filters!” wish I had now! 😂 Actually, allowing you often run the machine while you’re out, it might be a plan to make that a monthly job just to keep on top of it?SA If you have access to Instagram then have a look at the “Epidummyology” feed - she’s very good, very evidence based, and gives really clear breakdowns of everything to do with covid, a really useful feed. Personally I think the panic about more lockdowns is probably premature, although that could change if it does turn out that there is more of a vaccine escape element to the new variant than it currently seems there might be. A lot of the feeling at the moment will be based on how things changed last year, of course, not surprisingly. We’re in a massively different place now, to then though - this time last year my Dad had only just had his first jab, now he’s had two and his booster!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

To be honest we have not cleaned the filter on it for ages, probably 12 months or more.
It is a pain to get at and pours water all over the floor, the drain is too low down to get a dish under it to catch the water. Rubbish design really.
Hopefully it is sorted now. Will find out in a few days when it goes on again 🤔
I hope you are right about Covid. Common sense says you should be but we have that nagging doubt. Probably as you say because of how last year panned out1 -
My daughter has just tested positive for Covid 😩 She’s had a cough for a couple of days and feels rough.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I always clean my filter out 1st of the month or as near to as possible. I do it when my bath towels need a wash and lay them near the filter to soak up the water coming out

Then wash them on a hot wash after2 -
Oh no. Hope she recovers quickly.Sun_Addict said:My daughter has just tested positive for Covid 😩 She’s had a cough for a couple of days and feels rough.1 -
