Another one here who likes round numbers 😁 My entire Christmas is funded by rounding down.
Fingers crossed the battery gets fitted tonight, it sounds like my never ending attempts to decorate my Christmas tree.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
The battery is one of those jobs that should in theory have been so simple. We are a week in now

Rounding down numbers on debt is a relatively simple and pain free way of getting the balances down without really noticing the effect on your normal budget. Just been to walk the dog this lunchtime and the weather is horrible out. Wet, windy and cold. A weather warning has just flashed up on my phone for tonight with the threat of yet more snow.
I doubt we will get any in Worksop again but Sheffield always gets it and we will have to drive in again tomorrow!0 -
You are doing brilliantly @RelievedSheff amazing end to the year for you and tbh I think knowing what expenses are upcoming and having a plant o deal with as well as utilising the 0% is a massive step forward. You are finishing the year with your mortgage on a sensible rate, all cards on 0%, adverse off your record etc. Amazing year for you.
Weather is generally awful rn. It's been on/ off raining in NG no snow or sign of snow - we usually miss it but I assumed you'd probably get it really bad in Worksop area.
Hope battery gets sorted.1 -
Drum roll please...............
The battery is in the van, hooked up and merrily charging away.
Not quite finished yet though as we need some new straps to secure it. The old ones won't work.
Should be able to get some and finish the job and get the passenger seat back in before the weekend.
Still waiting for our home delivery to come. It usually arrives at the start of the time slot. Never mind. At least it didn't arrive mid dinner 😀2 -
I don't suppose it has been a bad year at all when you look at it like that 😀alt80 said:You are doing brilliantly @RelievedSheff amazing end to the year for you and tbh I think knowing what expenses are upcoming and having a plant o deal with as well as utilising the 0% is a massive step forward. You are doing great yourself. You have come a hell of a long way in the past six months in more ways than one. Well done to you as well.
We don't really get much snow in Worksop. We were used to much worse in Sheffield living at the top of one of the hills 🤣🤣🤣2 -
Good news about the battery 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
