We had a brilliant night last night. Just laid in bed now listening to the rain on the roof.
The new battery is brilliant. Despite having the heating on all night the voltage has hardly budged at all. Much better than the old one 👌
Going to get up and stick the kettle on shortly before we head in for breakfast. Dinner lateris roast chicken with all the trimmings.
We will take the dog for a decent walk shortly as well.2 -
Finally sat down for what feels like the first time today. Its been a busy day.
We got home stuck the van back in the drive, unloaded and then went to take the car for a mini valet while we had a coffee. Then tackled the supermarket. What a nightmare that was, it was so busy and the shelves were pretty empty.
Dinner is prepared ready for later.
The washer dryer is playing up again. I stuck a load in before we went out and it hasn't dried. That's back in again now, fingers crossed it dries this time!
The dog is shattered. He has had a busy weekend. He really enjoyed himself last night.

We did food shopping this morning and it was also massively busy RS - no idea what’s sent everyone mad on food shopping today!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Will need to go to a different supermarket in the week to pick up some bits I didn't manage to get today.
The roads seemed really busy today as well.1 -
Think everybody is trying to get as much done as possible just in case this new variant gets worse and Boris clamps down. Hoping to get the rest(which isn’t much) finished this week. This is more to do with previous Christmases I worked in retail so was always busy all over the festive period, so am hoping to get everything sorted soon, then I can sit back and relax and have a quiet Christmas.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

MrEH said he reckoned it was people worrying about a pre Christmas lockdown too. Could well be I guess.I need to crack on with getting Christmas stuff done now. I think now being fully into December will help make it all feel a bit more immediate though.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I’m not sure what to think about this new variant. Some are saying it’s mild and others seem to think we’re heading for another lockdown.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I have been picking up a few bits for over Christmas each week so it doesn't all come at once. Spreads the cost a bit. I think we have most stuff in now so it is only veg to pick up a few days before hand.0
