I can understand your mixed feelings about going back into work. Would it be feasible to look for something with less travelling or are you happy enough there.January spends - £587.581

I have worked for the same company for 21 years now. Not planning on going anywhere. We knew when we moved out here that the commute would be longer. It was a trade off we were willing to pay for a nicer house then we would have got closer to work.milann said:I can understand your mixed feelings about going back into work. Not a no spends day today. We are going out for a pub dinner after work. Not had one for ages and our local pub has great food offers on during the week.
Breakfast and lunch and from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work and I am having a jacket potato for my lunch.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- load of washing (dried in the dryer. Looks like rain here this morning)
- cleaning the bathrooms
- walking the dog x 2

The food in the pub was great last night. It was the BOGOF burger night so we both opted for the stack burger which was huge but really good quality. Couldn't fault the food at all and the drinks were cheap. £25 spent for 7 pints and 2 huge burgers with chips and onion rings.Sun_Addict said:Pub dinner sounds great, enjoy.0 -
That’s brilliant £12.50 each. Our local pub doesn’t do anything like that sadly.
