That’s brilliant £12.50 each. Our local pub doesn’t do anything like that sadly.
It is a chain pub but it always has a really good atmosphere. They have a food deal on most days of the week. They have a new menu that started on Monday and it is really very good. All of the food that came out looked excellent.

It was nice to see the place busy and the customers and staff enjoying themselves. A little piece of normality again.

It was also nice to see that the place has retained all of the staff that were working there pre Covid.

Just been out in the garden to see what the dog was up to, he had gone very quiet and I am always suspicious when he is quiet. He was asleep. But whilst out there I did notice that our chilli plants have suddenly gone mad and are growing loads of chillies. We had almost given up on them doing anything.

Really don't know how we have not noticed them. I have a couple picked ready to put on our pizza tonight :)

Debts coming down nicely now. That 0% deal will really help things moving forwards.

Great deal on the pub meal. I’m still avoiding eating out for the reasons other than Covid ha good to hear it was busy and a good atmosphere though. Are you noticing more in the pubs when you’re out and about in your van too?

What adventure you off on this weekend?

We are finding pubs to be a very mixed bag at the minute. The one we were in last night has been the most "normal" feeling. The one we were in last weekend was still outside seating only and table service. Some are somewhere in the middle of the two.

We are enjoying getting out and about again though.

Not going out in the van this weekend. We have a few little bits and bobs to do to it before the bank holiday weekend and we want to try and get it washed if the weather lets us.

The dog is at the groomers tomorrow but I think we are going to head to the coast when he is done. Leave the van cleaning for Sunday.

The debt is heading in the right direction now. Want to try and get that Card 5 cleared this winter when we are not going out as much. Will chuck every spare penny at it once we have got back from our Scotland trip. Would be nice to have that cleared before next Spring.

Hopefully more will be back to normal soon though cases seem to be rising. Idk what the answer is now everyone is fed up but not come this far to have massive casualties - tbh I'm not sure the vaccines are that effective over 100 deaths the other day more than last summer I think. Winter is going to be interesting whether we end up back in lockdown or not.

I hope you're getting that Sierra out to go to the coast - if I can get a 55 year old MG there and back will be a doddle for yours ha.

Good idea re clearing as much as you can when quieter in the winter. Realistically I think you know you're going to spend well through the summer when you're making the most of the van.

It will probably be quite a spendy day today. The dog is at the groomers this morning and we are heading to the coast at lunchtime and having a take out curry tonight.

We are going to the coast in the Hyundai. The Sierra would be fine going, but to get it out we need to get the Hyundai out and the van out and then put them both back again.

May as well just take the sensible car 🤣🤣🤣

A day at the coast followed by a curry, what’s not to like. Enjoy 😊
