Thank you. Do you know what life i pretty good right now. But we aim to make it even better by paying off our debts so that the money we earn is ours. What we spend each month servicing credit card debt is silly. We would much rather have that money in the bank!4

It's Friday. Where has this week gone?
It is another no spend day for us today. Breakfast was toast, the other half has his packed lunch for work, my lunch will be something from the fridge again and tonight we are heading across to the boat for the weekend so I will get something out of the freezer for dinner. Maybe some salmon and stir fried vegetables. It will be a film and a few beers on board tonight.
I know owning a boat is not very money saving and we have seriously discussed getting rid of it. In fact we had sold it in early March this year until Covid stuck it's oar in and the sale fell through due to the chap purchasing it having to shut his business. After much deliberation we have decided to keep it for the next couple of years at least until Covid has hopefully settled down and we can start to travel abroad again. We do make good use of it, we use it most weekends and holidays and the boat is owned outright so the annual costs are the mooring, insurance and licence and any maintenance required. We are using it as a bit of an escaped at the moment, more so for me as I am living and working at home I need that change of scenery come the weekend and the dog really enjoys boat life as well.
Today's jobs are:- Working from home
- Vacuuming the house
- Dusting the house
- Wrapping some Christmas presents
- Walking the dog x 2
- Getting our gear ready to go to the boat

Its the weekend, time to kick back and relax.
Last night we went over to the boat and had a few beers with friends we have not seen in a long time on the back of the boats, so another no spend day completed.
Today we have a few jobs to do on the boat while we are at the marina before we are heading to the next village for the night. We have set ourselves a budget of £50 for this weekend which should be achievable. Breakfast we have brought with us, I can rustle something up for lunch and dinner tonight will be a takeaway.3 -
We had a fab day yesterday and stuck to the budget.
The leisure batteries we took off the boat when we replaced them yesterday we have put on Ebay and people are already bidding on them. We normally just take them to the tip!
Today we are having a relaxing day. We will head back to the marina later and clean and tidy the boat before we head home. We need to pick up a few bits of veg from the farm shop on our way home and some bread for this weeks packed lunches.3 -
Had an unexpected no spend day today as the farm shop was closed and I rembered we have some wraps to make sandwiches this week.
We will need to get some vegetables from the supermarket this week at some point instead.
We currently have some turkey roasting in the oven which will be served with some roasted vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and greens later.

Didn't realise you had a diary on here. Such good advice I'd not guessed you were also paying down debts.
The boat sounds amazing.5 -

I didn't comment on your cars because we also have three cars and of course the boat. The boat, the Sierra and my aging Nissan are all paid for with about 18 months left to go on the HP for our main car the Hyundai I30.
The sensible thing for us to do would be to sell the boat which would easily clear all of our debts. But as we use it most weekends and for most holidays we are keeping it even though it does cost a lot each year to keep and maintain. We feel we can warrant the expenditure due to the use it gets. We are, assuming Covid doesn't get in the way, going away for a couple of weeks on it in a couple of weeks.4 -
£200 paid to CC3 today. That will reduce the balance on that card by about £110 but I will have to check that when the statement is produced shortly.
The balance on the bank account has also been rounded to the pound with the excess put in the savings account.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all from stores today. The other half has taken his packed lunch to work. And we are having a BBQ tonight after work, hopefully before it goes dark
Today I am ordering half a pig and a load of chicken produce and the Christmas turkey so definitely not a no spend day today!3 -
