It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a pork sandwich for my lunch and dinner tonight is pork goulash with rice and garlic bread.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • cleaning the van kitchen and bathroom
    • washing a load of bedding (looking at the weather this might have to be dried in the drier)
    • walking the dog x 2
It was certainly a lot cooler this morning when we took the dog for his morning walk. It was a lot more comfortable. It's still really hot in this house but I think with the windows open it will cool down today. We are forecast some rain but it has not arrived yet.

It turns out I could have hung the bedding on the line to dry. The rain has not arrived as forecast.

Decided while I was in the mood I would do the van bedding as well. I have put that in for a wash and dry. Not very MSE today I'm afraid. I don't trust the weather :)

Turns out the van bedding could have gone out to dry as well. It has only just started spitting with rain.

Still think the worst thing about the van is changing the bedding. It is a faff getting in the cab then back out again, then back in the hab door.

Still there are worse problems to have I suppose 🤣🤣🤣

We take the duvet into our bedroom and put the duvet cover in there.  It's far easier than doing it in the van.  Once it's done it's just a case of folding it and taking it back out and throwing it on the bed.  Still have the problem of getting the sheet on though which isn't quite as easy!

It's the bottom sheet that is the problem. The rest of it isn't really any more difficult than doing the bedding in the house.

£60 paid to Card 4 today. Other than that it is a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Crumpets for breakfast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a jacket potato for my lunch and dinner tonight is cajun salmon with rice and some vegetables from the garden.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog x 2
The rain has finally arrived this morning so it is indoorsy jobs today. Mind you when I say rain I mean just enough to wet everything but not enough to be of any real use to the garden.

    Balances Update 28.07.21

    Furniture Loan = £0

    Debt 1 = £0

    Credit Card 1 =£0
    Credit Card 2 = £0
    Credit Card 3 = £1314 (£100 repayment 29.9% interest)
    Credit Card 4 = £4967 (£60 repayment 0% interest)
    Credit Card 5 = £8272 (£261 repayment 19% interest)

    HP Car Loan = £1923
    HP Motorhome Loan = £22409

    Total Debt = £38885

Card 4 has gone up a touch this month because we have stuck the ferry payment on there for next years Isle of Wight trip.It will soon come back down again.

Not getting any good balance transfer deals through yet. It is perhaps a bit too soon after the CCJ has gone and I have a new mortgage and new HP loan on my credit file as well which won't be helping matters. Hopefully in the next few months a couple of ok deals will crop up.
