It's so unpredictable at the moment isn't it? Since moving we no longer have a dryer so I'm trying to get washing dried on the line but it's a bit of a gamble this past weekRelievedSheff said:The weather forecast looks crap for the next few days and hit and miss next week as well so I am going to take the chance to get the grass cut while it is dry enough this lunchtime.

I have dried everything in the washer dryer this week but I could probably have got away with drying every load on the line.LittleMissDetermined said:

I know that if I had hung it out it would have rained though

Pay day today

It will be a no spends day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having some stewing steak from the freezer for my lunch and dinner tonight is veggie burgers with chips, beer battered onion rings and homemade coleslaw.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- vacuuming the house
- dusting the house
- walking the dog x 2
We are at home tonight so it will be a few beers on the sofa in front of the TV tonight after work.3 -
Definitely a staying in day today ☔️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It has not stopped raining here today. The gardens will appreciate it.
We have swapped our weekends planned outing in the van from one where we would be parking on grass to one where we can park on tarmac.
Didn't fancy sinking it this weekend 😄4 -
Good thinking 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Good idea! nothing worse than getting stuck, although most places you'll find someone who's able to tow you out if necessary. We're home the weekend too. Away Monday for a few days - that's on grass but at least we know the owner car tow us off with his tractor if necessary as we've been there before.

Have a good one mate and good call on the van.1

It will be a bit of a spendy day today.
We need to pop into town and pick up a few bits from the butchers and the farm shop.
Breakfast will be from stores, full English, not had one for a while. Having a takeaway for dinner later though.
We are only heading 30 minutes up the road with the van this weekend to somewhere we went a lot with the boat when we had it.
There will be a surprise for the dog as well. His brother will be coming to pay us a visit. They have very recently moved to the village.
It should be a busy day.
We watched the Grand Tour Lochdown last night and saw some of the roads we will be tackling with the motorhome in September. The Applecross Pass looked awesome, if not a little bit scary. Think the other half can drive that day 🤣🤣🤣5 -
The dog is shattered. He loved his visit from his brother and they have both run each other ragged.
He won't be much bother tonight 😀
