  • The weather forecast looks crap for the next few days and hit and miss next week as well so I am going to take the chance to get the grass cut while it is dry enough this lunchtime.
It's so unpredictable at the moment isn't it? Since moving we no longer have a dryer so I'm trying to get washing dried on the line but it's a bit of a gamble this past week :D

I have dried everything in the washer dryer this week but I could probably have got away with drying every load on the line.

I know that if I had hung it out it would have rained though :)

    Pay day today :)

It will be a no spends day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having some stewing steak from the freezer for my lunch and dinner tonight is veggie burgers with chips, beer battered onion rings and homemade coleslaw.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog x 2
The rain has arrived during the night. It is definitely a lot cooler this morning. The forecast is for rain pretty much all day today. The dog is sulking in his bed looking out of the windows at the outside world. He much prefers being outside to stuck inside all day.

We are at home tonight so it will be a few beers on the sofa in front of the TV tonight after work.

It has not stopped raining here today. The gardens will appreciate it.

We have swapped our weekends planned outing in the van from one where we would be parking on grass to one where we can park on tarmac.

Didn't fancy sinking it this weekend 😄

Good idea!  nothing worse than getting stuck, although most places you'll find someone who's able to tow you out if necessary.  We're home the weekend too.  Away Monday for a few days - that's on grass but at least we know the owner car tow us off with his tractor if necessary as we've been there before.

The dog is shattered. He loved his visit from his brother and they have both run each other ragged.

He won't be much bother tonight 😀
