Do you think he recognises his brother? I’ve often wondered if dogs do. Looks like they get on well together anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Fairly certain they do recognise each other yes. It is great to watch them play together.Sun_Addict said:Do you think he recognises his brother? I’ve often wondered if dogs do. Looks like they get on well together anyway.
Both of them can be a bit off with other dogs yet they play together lovely.2 -
It should be a no spends day today.
Breakfast and dinner are from stores. Porridge for breakfast and roast chicken with all the trimmings later for dinner.
Not got much planned for today. Its raining right now. Hopefully that will stop soon so we can take the dog for a good run on the sports field with his ball.
Then we will head home and chill out for the afternoon. Will probably stick a film or two on.2 -
Dogs look like they've had the time of their life haha.
I've always wanted to do a tour of the Highlands - Applecross Pass looks immense (in a sports car of course ha). Enjoy it mate I'm just dreaming that'll I'll go on some driving holiday you might be in a van but at least you're doing it and have somewhere to sleep no matter where you go.2 -
The dogs loved it. They are coming to our house next weekend so we can take the dogs for a run in the woods and go get some lunch somewhere.alt80 said:Dogs look like they've had the time of their life haha.

No spend day hasn't gone well. Neither of us fancied porridge. We have just pulled into McDonald's for breakfast 🤣🤣🤣
We are counting down the days to the Scottish tour. Both really looking forward to that one. Not looking forward to the fuel bill though 🤔
Mind you we will save on site fees for that one. Planning to have the whole 16 nights off sites.0 -
@RelievedSheff fantastic, the dogs will love that. My son has some school friends who have dogs; sometimes my Mrs and son go out with one of the other families and the dogs. It's about the only time my golden spends the whole afternoon sleeping know he had a good time without being there.
Fml re Maccys I'm glad I don't have any money at the weekend, could have been tempted myself lol.
When is it you go to Scotland - can't be long now? Must be a !!!!!! nightmare when you're staying off the sites - presumably anyone can park up so run the risk of another van being where you want to stop etc?? I'd call your van economical though mate.
I still think that fella of yours needs to buy you a very !!!!!! big diamond; he 100% does not know how good he's got it.2 -
Scotland is very well geared up for off grid camping. If there is no room at your first choice of stop it won't be long before you find another spot to stop.
That trip is a while away yet. Set off last week in September.
We made a last minute desicion to head to the Trent to catch up with some boaty friends after breakfast. The dog has been playing with another friend. He is now shattered and tucked up in bed in the kitchen snoring. Was nice for us all to have a catch up. Think we are meeting up with them all in a couple of weeks somewhere on the Trent for a couple of nights.3 -
