Thank you. We had a great time. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We have found a few things that we need to sort out before we head out on our two week trip later in the year but nothing major and nothing expensive thankfully.

We need to fit some hooks in the shower compartment for drying off wet coats, trousers and dog gear. There are a couple in the shower room for hanging clothes but they are not in the right place and were in the way when we wanted to use the loo. So some self adhesive hooks in the shower cubicle should do the trick. The other half has ordered some, just waiting for them to be delivered, think they should be here this week so no doubt he will fit them after work when they arrive.

We have ordered a couple of extra clothes storage bags that will fit in the cab overhead lockers.

Mega important job is securing the gin bottle with a second strap. Twice we had to stop to rescue that on the country roads. We have some extra strap somewhere so that is a free job but a very important job :)

Definitely a very important job.  We're quite lucky as we have a pull out unit which holds bottles so we keep a good selection of booze in that plus spare bottles of tonic and other mixers and even a bottle of squash!  After all we can't be drinking the hard stuff all the time!

Not just once but twice on the same road 🤣🤣🤣

The rest of the time it didn't budge 🤔

It is the first time either of us has felt rough for a long time which is why we suspected Covid. Turns out we are just too old for week long drinking holidays and late nights on a Sunday 🤣🤣🤣

I'm a bit younger than you I think. The other half is older.

It probably was like a scene from a comedy sketch 🤣🤣🤣

Not a no spends day today. £100 has been paid to Card 3 and we have a small Asda shopping delivery coming this afternoon.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. Granola for breakfast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a jacket potato for my lunch and dinner tonight is turkey and mushroom stroganoff with rice and vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • putting away the home shopping delivery
    • walking the dog x 2
We have decided we are having a weekend at home this weekend. We need to get the hedge in the front garden cut and get a few other bits and bobs done around the house so while the weather is going to be suitable we will get it done this weekend. I suspect there will be a BBQ on saturday night as well if we are staying at home and the weather is nice.
