Enjoy the pie and peas. We don’t usually bother with football but am watching 🤔 still not feeling the love of the game tbh but would like to see us win 👍

Feel a bit groggy this morning. Will go for a long walk this morning before we head off to Kendal.

Don't think we will spend much today. We are on a site tonight so have site fees of £27 to pay. Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast and a bbq later for dinner.

Site fees were cheaper than we thought. Got a discount for something or other. £21. Not really spent much else, bought a coffee each and some kendal mint cake 😀

The site here is lovely. Its quite large but the pitches are all clustered in little groups in the woods so it doesn't feel big. No two pitches are the same and you are not designated a pitch, you just drive round until you find one that suits.

We will definitely come back here again.

Kendal was lovely as well but we only had a couple of hours to explore so didn't really do it justice.

De lurking to say that we have used that site a few times on the way to, or back from our (pre CV19) 3 weeks touring Scotland. We have a little spot that we love and get quite put out if someone else is using it.

The site is in the woods with the pitches in little clusters so it feels like a small site even though it is quite big.

Had a great night's sleep. Just listening to the birds singing now.
