Scenery is out of this world, looks amazing it’s not somewhere I’ve thought about going really but does now look very appealing - open countryside and playing about on boats. Is it generally dog friendly? Thinking about maybe hiring a cottage or something would be next summer though to be hopeful with the weather.

Not gonna lie following your diary think I’ve got a lot of the UK to see haha. Those roads in that van though fml it doesn’t look like the ideal transport tbh.

Probably a crazy idea but thinking I’d maybe take my dog. Not something we usually do - in-laws have took him on hol reckoned he was fine but he’s usually better for them. Also had a fleeting thought of going in MG my son can sit in the back but not for that long haha so it’s a Range Rover job which is probably about as wide as your van anyway ha.

Came on here bin the personal debts and I keep looking to plan various !!!!!! holidays - you’re the one to blame ha 😆😆😆

    Your dog will love it.

I imagine holiday accommodation is quite expensive here to be honest!

    Definitely worth a visit though.

Won't end up being such a spendy day after all. We will be watching the match on the van. Inside seating has been reserved for the locals and while the outdoor gazebo and bar looks great the wind has properly got up and is whipping across the field so we have retired to the van to watch the football.

The landlord could not apologise enough. Not his fault of course.

Total spends today £20 at the butchers and £16 for parking 😀

Neither of us really likes football so it is really strange for us to be watching it. Looking forward to pie and peas shortly.

I don’t like football but Mr SA loves it. Obviously it would be great if England win but I don’t want to watch the game, hearing the result will be sufficient for me 😆
