Time to Face The Music

We had the portable ones at work on the top floors and they worked, although they were massive industrial sized ones you wouldn't want them in your house.

We have a portable air conditioner. They are quite good if your rooms are not too big. Our lounge is 22ft long and about 13ft wide and it does help but it would be better in a smaller room. Very good if you sit right next to it..

It will be a low spends day today.

Breakfast and lunch will be from stores. Breakfast was a sausage and egg sandwich, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a sandwich for my lunch. Dinner tonight is going to be a takeout. It is the other half's birthday today and that is what he has decided he wants to do, which is fine by me. So it will be a few beers on the sofa until the takeaway comes later on. Will probably be indian or chinese knowing him.

Today's jobs include:

• working from home
• vacuuming the house
• cleaning the insides of the windows
• cleaning the mirrors
• loading the van up for tomorrow
• walking the dog x 2

We had a surprise visit from the other half's sister and the eldest niece last night which was nice. Sods law we were in the middle of eating when they came but it was nice to see them.

I did ask him if he wanted to go out somewhere tonight, but he said by the time he has come home from work and got showered and changed all he will want to do is chill out on the sofa.

He is usually tired when he gets back on a Friday. He will be alright after a couple of beers are down him

Don't think we will be having a late night though. We have to get up and about in the morning. We are meeting some friends at their house with the van at 9am so we have to be up at 7am and out of the house for 7.30am tomorrow. We are sneaking in time for a cheeky McDonalds breakfast on the way though 

We are all heading to the coast tomorrow for the evening. Not seen them for years so it will be nice to have a catch up. In fact they have not seen the dog and we have had him three years now so that is how long we have not caught up with them in person!!

Sounds like an awesome weekend. Love it how you’ve got a day at the coast planned and I’ve got trying to stay on top of my schedule planned haha. !!!!!! dreading going away end of the month will have to fit 7 day schedule into 4 or miss something fml think I like the idea of going away more than actually doing it.
