That’s amazing the van is free to park where you did - looks a great spot.

Have a safe trip back mate.

The van sounds a really good fit for you. I can see why you didn't want to wait until the debt was closer to gone. Its almost a spending deterrent in a funny kind of way.
The dog must be in doggy heaven, all these new places mum and dad keep finding for him.

The dog is loving it. A different place to explore everytime we park up.

We have only paid to use a couple of sites so far. We much prefer the places where we can pull up out and about.

We have met some really nice people in other vans so far.

Sadly there are a very small minority who are leaving sites a mess so they are getting overnight parking stopped and height barriers put up which is a real shame for the vast majority.

Your van looks great. Defo going to be our Plan B if regional property price differentials open up a lot more & we can't move to our intended seaside county. We'd still have to move house locally so as to have more space to park a camper van though. Big garden for a 1930s house, but only a small space at the front which we can barely fit the car onto. Waking up next to the sea & cooking breakfast to eat outdoors is one of the things we most love about camping. You just feel so free, & healthy too from all the fresh air.

Just got sat down at home. Van is put away on the drive with the relevant tanks filled and emptied ready for the next trip out. Just need to vacuum it out and restock the fridge at some point during the week.

The dog is absolutely shattered and has gone straight to bed after a quick walk around the block. Don't think he will be much trouble this afternoon.

Dinner is prepared for later on and we have just sat down with a cold beer.

We are due out in a couple of weeks with some friends in their camper and they have just rung up to ask if we can go to where we have been this weekend so it looks like we will be going back sooner than we thought which is fine by us 😃

The other half is heading off for his second AZ vaccination very shortly. Fingers crossed it doesn't affect him like the first one did!!

You do really well with your no spend days. Hope your OH is ok after his vaccine, it seems to affect everyone randomly with no set pattern.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I didn't realise until I started this diary just how many no spend days we do have.
