Poor dog ☹️ Mine likes scrambled egg too, it’s very light on a dodgy stomach, like chicken is.

Managed to get the dog to eat a bit of fish earlier and he has had some puppy milk which he loves.

He is still very sleepy but he looks a bit brighter this afternoon. Sure he will perk up when the other half comes home shortly.

Poor dog - I'm sharing his pain as I had my 2nd jab yesterday and am distinctly peaky today.

Sorry to hear about your dog @RelievedSheff I'd get the operation on the knee done, better out the way imo. Don't think they can do anything if the cartilage wears away apart from a replacement. Don't quote me on that I don't know much about animal anatomy but fairly certain he'll be !!!!!! if the cartilage goes.

They have said if the cartilage wears then there is nothing they can do for it other than pain relief or worst case if the pain is too bad remove the leg. They have also said that it may never become a problem. It is a tough call to make.

On a more positive note he is obviously feeling better today. He is back being a nuisance again :)

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having soup and bread for my lunch and dinner tonight is roasted goat rack with root veg mash, vegetables and gravy.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing
    • cleaning th bathrooms
    • walking the dog x 2
It is nice to see some sunshine this morning and the forecast for this coming weekend looks great for a change. Only downside of that is the bank holiday traffic will be much worse than last bank holiday. Guess we will be having to get used to sitting in traffic now we have the van  :p

We generally used to take Friday off work when it was a bank holiday so that we could get away either Thursday night or Friday morning to avoid the worst of the traffic.  In fact it's what we generally do when we're going away for a weekend now.

We're off this morning so avoid the worst of the traffic, although we're going for a few weeks rather than just the bank holiday weekend.

Wish we could take some extra time off but we are both pulled out at work. No chance of any time off at the moment.

We are moving every day as well for the three days we are out so we will be stuck in traffic whatever we do. Luckily we are not going too far each time and we are staying away from the coast so hopefully it might be a bit quieter but we will still have the A1 and the A46 to contend with. At least we will be stuck in traffic in comfort :)
