Got here and parked up at 7pm. We were lucky and managed to grab the last available van parking space. Not the best space we are definitely on a downhill slope even on the levelling ramps. Only for one night though so not too bothered.

I chucked myself in at the deep end and drove off the A roads and right through the village to get here. Did ok but did get the other half to drive us into the field and into our spot as that was tight with cars parked everywhere.

Just having a few beers now and putting dinner on shortly.

It will potentially be quite a spendy day today as we are heading to the pub to meet our boating friends.

Last nights mooring spot has been lovely and quiet. Can hear the birds singing as we speak.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and pie, chips and mint and chilli mushy peas for dinner.

My husband is away next week for 5 days at a small festival on his own and will be taking a bottle of whisky, a bottle of coffee rum and 24 cans of assorted beer and cider. Hopefully some of it will come back. In case you wonder I dont go because I cant think of a worse way to spend a few days. I am definitely not into late nights, loud music and camping.

That's not counting anything he is offered by others. They are a very generous and sociable group. I have also included the sunday when he will be driving home so really its only 4 nights. He should have enough especially as he will be in charge of our wayward border Collie who if not watched will steal any food he can find from anyone. He gained 2kg at one festival. 😂

What a beautiful day it had turned into. We have got to our destination for today and our boat friends have been lucky and got in the mooring here so we are all set for beers in the pub shortly.

@ladyholly That won’t last 2 days shared between a few mates haha let him live a little.

@RelievedSheff looks bang on if you took the pic without those vans spoiling the view. 😜
