Time to Face The Music

The first payment has been made to our new mortgage provider this morning. That's always a stinger due to the extra interest due for the part month before the payment is due. 

It should be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was a sausage and egg sandwich, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a jacket potato for my lunch and dinner tonight is mixed seafood in black bean sauce with noodles.

Today's jobs include:

• working from home
• load of washing (to line dry)
• vacuuming out the van
• walking the dog x 2

Decided to nip out and cut the grass at lunchtime. Blimey it is hot out there, especially on the front in the direct sunshine. Was only out for half an hour and I have started to go red on my arms!!

Yes we are. Heading to the coast this weekend for a couple of nights.

It won't be a no spends day today. We have an Asda home shopping delivery coming this afternoon.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having an omelette for my lunch and dinner tonight is a BBQ while the weather is nice.

Today's jobs include:

• working from home
• cleaning the kitchen
• vacuuming the house
• weeding the front garden
• putting away and sorting the home shopping delivery
• walking the dog x 2

It looks set to be another hot and sunny day. It was lovely this morning walking the dog while it was still nice and cool with the mist rising off the pond.

Sounds like a really nice walk this morning @RelievedSheff. Going to tell the wife to make me an omelette this lunch could just eat that now ha but had breakfast - last thing I need is another course ha so have it at lunch. Thanks for putting the idea in my head lol!

It was a lovely walk thanks. We are so lucky to have fabulous walks right on our doorstep. I used to just let the other half take the dog in the morning while I pottered around in the house. But it is a much better start to the day when we both go and get some fresh air and stretch our legs and have a good natter.

Sounds like it re walks. You’re very lucky if you OH is like a friend as well @RelievedSheff. I used to employ a girl who had the most amazing marriage similar interests loved spending time together best mates in essence but still had the spark according to her. Very rare treasure each other I’m pleased for the two of you tbh.
