We have just booked 3 nights on the harbour front campsite at Southwold for next year's jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

We always used to love going to Southwold on the boat but it was always a worry whether we would get back home again if the sea conditions changed. None that to worry about this time 🤣🤣🤣

Something to look forward to and good move getting in there early before it gets booked up.

It was the second site we tried. We initially thought Wells next the Sea but the site there is already fully booked.

Southwold still had quite a few pitches left surprisingly.

No surprise that they have put the prices up for those days though 🙄

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was granola, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having tuna and salad wraps for my lunch and dinner tonight is another BBQ in the garden. We have a pair if enormous T bone steaks tonight so not doing much with them just some small corn on the cob, grilled onions and grilled peppers.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • starting to load up the van for the weekend
    • walking the dog x 2
It has been a bit cooler and more cloudy for our morning walk this morning. Looks like we have had a bit of rain overnight here which has cooled things off a little. It's forecast to brighten up later though.
