It's going to be a busy day of running around today. This is where not having two cars (on the road) anymore causes us an inconvenience.
The dog is at the vets later this morning for his annual check up and vaccinations. Which has meant that I have had to go and drop the other half off at work, then come back home to do an hours work, before heading back into Sheffield to the vets, to then come back home for some more work, before heading back into Sheffield after work to pick the other half up from work again.
Still it should be a no spends day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I will grab something from the fridge for my lunch and dinner tonight is steak with sweet potato wedges, onion rings, asparagus and grilled tomatoes.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- taking the dog to the vets
- walking the dog x 2
- picking the other half up from work

Just back from the vets. Generally it is a clean bill of health but we need to decide between us in the next couple of years or so if they are going to operate on his luxating patella or not. It is a difficult one because at the moment it doesn't really bother him but it does run the risk of getting worse and creating other complications as he gets older if we do nothing in the near future.1

Aww poor dog. It’s a hard decision for you especially if it’s not causing any problems atm.January spends - £587.580

It is a difficult decision to make. He could go on and never have any serious problems with it but equally he could have issues with the cartilage completely wearing away and be in terrible pain by which point it is too late to do anything about it. It's a tough call really.1

I suppose it’s something to consider over the next year, see if he deteriorates. Have they just discovered it?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Think he is feeling a bit of colour after his jabs. He has got himself straight in bed. Not like him at all. Sure he will be back to his usual self tomorrow.1 -

Aw bless him. I hate it when pets are off colour. Would he eat a bit of plain chicken? My dog will eat it when she’s off her food. Hope he perks up soon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Have tried chicken which usually works but he isn't bothered about it. Tried cheese not bothered. Will try him with a bit of plain which fish at lunch time. He is in bed snoozing at the minute. Can hear his stomach growling and gurgling away1
