That's a much better use of space.  I agree with you about the spare tyre - they definitely take up a lot of room.  Ours is under the van but it's really difficult to get at!  It's only had to be used once when we got a puncture in Belgium going through some roadworks a few years ago!  The roads there now are far better than they used to be!

Now that we have sorted the shelves out we are amazed just how much beer storage there is.

Think we will be able to carry enough for our two week trip around Scotland in that locker 🤣🤣🤣

We figured if we do ever need to change a wheel we will call the recovery people. At least we will have a spare, will just mean either the recovery man or the other half will have to crawl under the van to get the wheel down.

Can't believe that some vans come without a spare wheel now 😕

We let the recovery man get the spare out!  DH wouldn't attempt to change the wheel himself - we've got a tag axle van!

It will be a low spends day today. The other half has decided after I cooked a meal for us and the neighbours last night that we will have breakfast out. Which is fine by me 😀

Dinner will be from stores though. Roast chicken with all the trimmings tonight.

After the dog was so good yesterday both while we were busy with the van and while we had guests we are going to take him to the woods for a long muddy walk after breakfast to tire him out.

I’m glad your dog behaved himself after his shenanigans last weekend. Breakfast out sounds good. I’m also doing roast chicken with all the trimmings tonight, although mine will be nut roast.

He is almost always as good as gold when we have guests.

Children can do  that as well 🤣 especially when being looked after by someone else.

Last night we had homemade chana masala and homemade naan, we made double of both which are now in the freezer for an easy meal in the future.
