It was the Pfizer jab they gave me.

The vaccine Centre is really very well organised. Was jabbed almost as soon as I was in the building but then had to sit and wait for 15 minutes before I could come home.

Think they check for no severe reactions with the Pfizer vaccine.

Going to have dinner very shortly and then take it steady in front of the TV and go to bed early tonight I think. Hopefully will wake up fresh as a daisy in the morning 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t know anyone who’s had the Pfizer feel rough the next day so you should be ok.

My husband was warned by the chap doing the vaccinations that pfizer can give reactions on the second dose. I think they put the idea in his head so of course he wasnt well but I was fine after both doses , also pfizer.
  • Glad you've had your second dose and hope you feel ok tomorrow. I read today that 38 and 39 year old now been invited to book so getting closer to me, can't wait! Mainly cos I'm desperate for a holiday...so much so that I've been looking at motorhomes, but now justnisnt the right time for us. I'll live vicariously through yours! Have managed to book a few UK camping trips though which I'm super excited for.

Hope you get away with no side effects and nothing gets in the way of the weekend trip so I can carry on living vicariously.

Truthfully, I'm too lazy for that type of holiday involving maintenance and setting up/down etc and so is husband but I do love the idea. Perhaps the time will come when we're a bit less knackered from the day jobs and not crave a hotel and restaurant for any getaway.

I thought of a fun thing to do with the cost of the van. You know how they tell you to think of cost per wear for clothes, you could do it for the van. It will already be down to a 3rd of the price after this weekend :)

I'm only on my first dose. Think I have got mine early though, I'm 37. There were people younger than me there as well.

There really isn't much setting up with the van. Most times we have just parked up, spun the seats round and turned the gas on. Takes the whole of a couple of minutes.

Had to get the ramps out once but that wasn't really much hassle.

I'm not sure we will cost the van out while we have the finance on it. We never did with the boat!

Sorry thought you were second. Either way, good news!

I love the lack of set up required with camper van, literally park and job done. The one we travelled in for about 6 months had a bed that you had to make each night in the seating area which was the bit that drove me mad. Although that was possibly cos it was for 6 months every night!
