Sun_Addict said:Glad you’ve emerged unscathed, the Pfizer seems to be the best one to have re side effects, if I had a choice I’d choose that one, it was pot luck what they had on the day at the centre and it was an AZ day when I went. Still they all do the same thing in the end and if that’s what it takes to get us back to normal it’s well worth a few hours of feeling rough.
I believe they have decided that people under the age of 40 are not having the AZ vaccine now.2 -
Just had confirmation that our remortgage has completed
We can both breath a sigh of relief now. We had been convinced that the van finance would scupper things last minute!4 -
Good news on the mortgage.
Pleased to hear there have been no side effects with the jab.
the van layout looks good 👍 Ours will have a bed that needs putting away at the far end but we plan to keep it up unless it’s rubbish weather when we will fold it away to use the bigger table. We have a smaller table at the front end of the van. We wanted 4 seatbelts to take the gks out with us for days. So this was the best layout to tick our boxes.January spends - £587.583 -

Great news on the remortgage 🥳 We were called in for vaccines in the Clinically Vulnerable and unpaid carers group, a lot there were young people with disabilities who probably shouldn’t have been having the AZ jab now the possible blood clot issues have come to light.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Great news on the remo @RelievedSheff.
Just had a look at the van link, looks on point to say it's accommodation in the back of a van, really impressive from the photos. Until you posted some pics thought it'd look like one of those old vw campers or something inside. Shower room / kitchenette areas are a lot better than I'd imagine you'd have got in a van lol.
Taking it anywhere this w/end?1 -

No idea what the place is like as we have never been. It is a small field behind a pub
We chose this van for a reason.3 -
Have a good time mate. Won't expect to hear from you on here though - the signal is !!!!!! in Lincs lol.3

Nice to read about your van, @RelievedSheff. We are saving hard (& upgrading our house) as we hope to be able to relocate to the coast in around 8 to 10 years or so. If we can't do it (price differential between East Midlands & the region we want to go might increase to more than we can make up), then our Plan B is to buy a lovely van. We love camping, but it would be great to take it up another level, even though our tent does always look cosy & eye-catching.
F2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
