Great! Switching into an existing one seems easiest option given you can't have two Reward accounts anyway. Getting Digidocs to work properly last time was a headache so hoping not to have to do that again with RBS or Ulster...
The trap for the digidocs is that they use the same service, so if e.g. you already have NatWest and apply for RBS, you will find you need to log into the Natwest one to upload the docs again for RBS

Will I need to use DigiDocs even if I have already have an RBS account, opened a few months ago?
My 2nd account opened without request for digidocs. Instant confirmation of the application, but it takes an overnight process for the account to show online.

New Reward account application submitted. No DigiDocs required yet, but the message said they would be in touch to request further information. Not sure what that means given I already hold an account with them and my application form was pretty much pre-filled!

be sure to get the email in few days to upload the docs on digidocs.

...and my switch completed and I've already cycled my £1500 so should be good for my ton in January 2021 unless I've forgotten anything?!
Agree, it sounds as if you have met all the conditions for the switch bonus.

The only other thing you could consider is the Reward scheme, which works well with 2 Reward accounts but involves some extra work each month.
How does it work well with two reward accounts?  I think that one login on the app each month would qualify for both accounts but other than that what are the advantages?  You still need two DDs of at least £2 on the second account and monthly funding of £1250?

yes logging into app should be only once but all other conditions is at account level and not at bank level. So if you have 2 reward accounts then you need to fulfill conditions on both. I am doing the same for NatWest

For rewards you need to pay in £1,250 each calendar month to any eligible personal current account. It is not per account and doesn't even have to be a reward account.
For example you may have one select, one solo reward and one joint reward accounts. Paying £1250 into the Select account will qualify you for rewards on both Rewards account, obviously assuming you log in through the app and have DD's in place also.

These are terms related to the rewards element rather than the switch offer.
The switch offer has different qualifying terms requiring £1500 paid into the account you want to switch to.

That would make sense as the Banks would expect the MSE muggles to have this as their main source of income (they don't call it salary as  some people don't have one) and for them to only have one.
