Well what do you know, they arrived today!! Delivered by someone who delivers regularly, and the packing not is dated 23rd Oct so why we were fobbed off before is anyones guess - they certainly hadn't sent the goods.

I run a business and how they survive is beyond me, their service is appalling

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • I made my first order in March, they took the money straight away from my credit card as the website wouldn't allow me to set up a personal account. Parcel arrive 10 days later. I returned half the items a few days later and the end of March, parcel only received back by Bon Prix beginning of May, so where's it been for the whole of April. Bon Prix have made refund to my personal account (which they wouldn't set up initially) and not to my credit card so having to wait for refund to be switched over.

I placed an order in August on credit, it never arrived. My credit not being great, despite saying successful I thought maybe this had been rejected after. After that I had no correspondence until yesterday when I received a text saying payment was overdue (having received no invoice or request for payment by post or email), I emailed saying can you confirm that this is a mistake. To which the reply stated that it was no mistake and I owe £111 Plus p&p. I replied saying I don't believe the items were ever delivered, I live alone and had they got to my front door and left it there it would have been perfectly secure, having replied asking for details of delivery they replied saying it was delivered to my letterbox on 15/08 (which happens to be a Sunday) they have now said they'll send the 'lost parcel' form. Watch this space.....
  • Wish I'd read this thread before I ordered from these people.

    1) My parcel turned up reasonably on time -- seems like I may have been lucky there. Delivery was a bit difficult because they refused to deliver to my work address: only to home, even though the two are 5 minutes away from each other. Nonetheless, I managed to get the courier to deliver on a Saturday. So that part was okay.

    2) Everything in the parcel (3 dresses) was cheap, nasty, horrible fabric and just stunk of chemical dye. I wouldn't be seen dead in any of it. Kudos to their photographer for making this tat look so good online. :D

    3) The ONLY way to return goods is to have the couriers collect. They will only collect from the delivery address so that means my home address. Which means I've spent the last two Saturdays waiting in for them, and no one has yet shown up.

So I'm now waiting for another canned response from their CS team to see what they want to happen next. I seriously wish I'd never ordered from them, and my first order is definitely my last.
  • I'm very glad I saw this thread-I'd seen a few of the Bon Prix catalogues and looked on their website, and was thinking of ordering. Somehow I don't think I'll bother now. I hope everyone with outstanding issues gets them sorted out soon. :)

It looks like I am not alone. I ordered from Bon Prix after seeing their ad on Facebook, chased the order after the 6 days was up, as this was their quoted lead time, they said the order had been delivered. Not to my house, it hadn't. Bon Prix argued with me that it had been left by the courier in a shed I don't own! They had no proof of delivery! Some of the items were out of stock, so they said the second part of the delivery was coming the next day, so I asked for my contact number to be given to the courier so he could call and I would make sure he came to the right address, no telephone call, no second delivery! So I called Bon Prix again, and this time the said the parcel had been put through the letter box, again I don't have one of those!! After arguing with Bon Prix that they had taken my money and no goods had been delivered, they said I would need to fill out a claim form, surprise surprise, nothing arrived in the post, so I called again, and was told that it takes 2 weeks to get a form out, I waited, still nothing, so rang again, and was told they could email it to me, great I thought, but nothing arrived to my email address. I have written two letters of complaint, without a response to either. Bon Prix will not let me talk to the carrier, Hermes, to find out where the driver took my parcels, so I went onto Hermes website to find a telephone number to call them myself, they don't have a number, so I filled out the enquiry form explaining my situation, and an automated reply was sent to me, saying they couldn't help and I should contact the company who sent the goods. Bon Prix have taken over £100 of my money, I have no goods, 3 months later, I am still trying to get this resolved. I can't believe that this company appears to be doing this sort of thing regularly and it is tantamount to fraud. What can we do?

Just as Alyh i found Bonprix through Facebook. I will NEVER buy from them again.....
I ordered and paid for my item, shoes, straight away and they happily took my money. I received my delivery fairly quick but I was very suprised to see they had sent me the wrong shoes. I used the email facility to get incontact with them asking why I have been sent this shoe instead of the one i ordered. After chasing them time and time again i finally had the reply to say the The shoe i ordered was out of stock so they sent me a replacement item!!! I was NOT informed the item was out of stock and the item sent was nothing like the one i ordered. This is not the only problem.......
Of course I wanted to return the item so i arranged for it to be picked up......THREE TIMES!!!! No one showed up and no information as to why. After calling the customer service having to be very firm (which i dont like to be) saying it is unacceptable as I have been waiting at home for three weekends in a row for no reason. As someone else mentioned in this thread you are not able to return any other way and cannot have the package picked up at a different address (work address).
It was finally picked up and before receiving a refund i had to wait another 4 weeks!!!!! I also mentioned to them i am not prepared to pay a postage fee for something i didnt order.....I have not yet seen the postage fee and as I am sick and tried of chasing this company I dont expect to ever receive it. My problems with Bonprix is, by far, not as bad as some of you here and we can only hope more people read this thread before placing any orders with BONPRIX!!!
  • So glad I found this thread. I saw an ad for Bon Prix clothes through Facebook and decided to take a look. I didn't want to order without trying on the clothes first but they had no stores to visit. Then I came across this thread and thought "Nope!" It could have been OK for me but I'm happy not to take that chance until Bon Prix buck up their ideas.
  • I wish I had read these before ordering. I placed a £77 order at the end of May and have not received the goods. I got through ok on the telephone both times I have called this week and today the chap has called through apparently to the courier company who have apparently lost the package! Haven't we heard this before?
He said he could re-order but I explained that after looking at all the negative comments on the Web, that I would like a refund. This should be done within 3 days - here's hoping!
    Will let you know!!

I returned an item back to Bonprix on the 30th June 2012 through royal mail, Bonprix received the parcel back in there UK warehouse on the 4th July 2012. It then had to go to Germany warehouse for some reason I do not know & it would take 28 days for them to refund my money back to me...It is now the 2nd August 2012 & I still have not received my refund...I have now got to send a copy of my proof of postage & sign a declaration (that can take 7 days to arrive to me by post) & then maybe I will get my money back...I will not be ordering anything else from BONPRIX cos this company is diabolical, to have to wait this length of time for your money back & the trouble I have had trying to get it, & phone calls & emails I have sent...I am really mad about all of this ...
