Bon Prix Problems

Thought I would just update you.
After asking for a form to say the courier hasn't delivered (after 1.5 months after ordering), we waited two wks for the form and it never arrived.
Then we had a knock at the door - and low and behold it was the BonPrix courier! I was to astounded to complain and meekly accepted the package. Only took about two months from ordering!
Moral of the story - don't trust that every online retailer is the same and don't let flashy websites fool you into thinking they are professional - it could be absolutely anyone at the end of that computer - conmen, tricksters, the lot. Test them with a small purchase 1st.

i too have been robbed by bon prix
same story
ordered - they charged me and no parcel after 1 month say it is lost and send me a form - received 2 by the way and now i have just posted it by recorded delivery.
i placed 2 order with bon prix (foolish me:rolleyes: ) on the 1st and the 7th december 2007.
order dated 1st received OPENED and with missing content from royal mail(was supposed to be delivered by parcel net) after nearly one month and lots of phone calls.
the other dated 7th was loss as its a custom from bon prix:rolleyes:
anyone received refund yet after form submitted0 -
I can sympathise - I once had a long and protracted discussion about a similar situation with one of their customer service operatives as I wanted them to get the 'Missing Items' forms to me asap. I asked them to fax me one, and they told me they didn't have a fax machine! Incredulous as I was, I then asked them to e-mail me a copy only to be told that it could take up to a week to receive an e-mail. When I asked why, I was told that it was because it would have to come from France.
After a brief explanation from me about how an e-mail from France shouldn't take any longer to arrive than anywhere else, he finally admitted that he didn't know what to do, so I asked him to refund me.
The refund arrived about 6 weeks after my initial order, and the actual order arrived about two weeks after that. Dutifully I rang them to tell them that I now had the clothes, and would they like me to pay for them again. After 5 minutes on hold, I was told that my order had been cancelled and I would have to fill in a form for the refund. I decided after three attempts to explain and an e-mail which was never responded to that I had done all that could be reasonably expected of me, and kept my £16 worth of items.
The lesson with Bon Prix is that the price you pay for the mega-cheap clothes is appalling customer service - the only upside being that occasionally it works in your favour! Good luck all...0 -
I can sympathise with you shazia
My hope was that others might see this thread BEFORE they buy from BonPrix
I think perciverance is the key here and don't let them fob you off
However every call I had with them I ended up shouting down the phone at them and still didn't seem to get anything done quicker.0 -

When I returned my parcel to them items from it went missing so they only refunded me for a couple of items, I had to fill in a claim form and it took them another couple of weeks to finally give me a full refund, wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now, the whole thing from start to finish was an awful experience.
I hope they manage to sort yours out, good luck.Following the Slimming World Plan and Exercising

Came on here to post about my problems with Bon Prix - did a quick search and found this thread.
I too have had big problems with Bon Prix. Ordered my stuff beginning of December (may have even been Nov) and wanted to return one item. As usual they took my money very quickly, but STILL have not picked the item up despite several emails and phone calls.
Today I have received an email asking me to return the item through the post office (despite me having already told them that I can't) as their courier has let them down and they can't use any other.
I have asked for my money to be refunded, but that won't happen until I return the parcel.
I don't find it easy to get to the post office at the moment and after waiting in on no less than three days, I don't really feel they should ask me to. Plus it will mean repackaging the item (it's in the huge box they sent it in at the moment).
I should have been warned last time I ordered from them - quite a while ago, they took months to refund me (by two cheques in the post).
What are my rights?0 -
Just came across this thread, as I've been trying to google this company, and I think I have some explaination as to why some people aren't getting what they've ordered.
The other day, my next door neighbour received a parcel delivered by Parcelnet. She explained it was not for our house, but the driver insisted that she sign for and take delivery of the item for our address.
We do get misdeliveries to our house from time to time, for the people who share the same house number in the street down the road. Let's just say I live at 10 Downing Street, and received a package for 10 Downing Close (no, I'm not Gordon, lol)
Anyway, I had the note from Parcelnet, with no contact number listed, so went next door to pick up the parcel, and my next door neighbour who is in her 80s explained what had happened. The driver insisted that she took the package despite explaining that it's the wrong address, and the driver insisting it was right.
I used saynoto0870.com to find a number for parcelnet, and was told I had the wrong department and they insisted I call their 0870 number to tell them. I then said that I'm in possession of a parcel delivered to me by mistake, and that it's entirely optional whether you deal with my call, as I'm not paying a premium rate number in which Parcelnet would receive a cut from for me to report their mistake. The guy then took my name and number, and promised someone would get back to me. This never happened.
I only tried Parcelnet, because I faced the same problems as everyone else on this thread with Bon Prix. I googled the company, and they only have an 0871 number, and a few numbers abroad. saynoto0870.com doesn't list a geographic number, and head office is abroad. After seeing on this thread that I should be prepared to be on hold for ages, this put me off calling this number even more.
Therefore Parcelnet are not interested in rectifying the situation. I refuse to call an 0871 number, as this would be me paying them to complain about their cowboy courier company, and could involve ages on hold. I tried to go on the e-mail contact us page for Bon Prix, but they need a customer number before they will accept a web based e-mail enquiry, which I do not have, since I'm not a customer, and just as well according to the complaints on this thread!! There is no e-mail address listed on the contact us section.
Maybe I should write to their Liverpool postal address, and explain that Parcelnet have failed to return my calls regarding collection of their item, and charge them for storage to reflect the costs involved in having to trace the companies involved.
It's no wonder so many parcels have gone missing. They use a cowboy courier company who bully 80 year old ladies into accepting a parcel they know is not really for their neighbour, just cos they can't be bothered to take the parcel back to the depot, or drive to the bottom of our cul de sac. I would also like to point out that Parcelnet's couriers have wrongly delivered to my place before for other mail order companies, but the last few times they did return and collect as agreed, but I still had to insist that the person I called dealt with the issue rather than call the 0870 number.
I just want to wish everyone on this thread good luck with resolving their issues with Bon Prix, and my letter to Liverpool will be in the post tomorrow!!0
