Bon Prix Problems

I wish I had read this thread too. I had ummed and ahhhed for a while re Bon Prix - the clothes look good on their advertisements but whenever I tried to make an order nothing was ever available in my size (14). This improved over time and once I was in full time employment I thought I'd give it a whirl.
My first order came after a week - but it was not my order. However, the invoice stated the items I had ordered, but the contents of the parcel were not mine. I rang and they re-ordered my original order and said a courier would pick up the other parcel. He didn't -but he did deliver my second parcel a few days later, when I wasn't at home left it on the back door step!
I decided to use the Post Office as this option has recently become available. Hubby took it to the PO by his work but unhelpfully didn't retain the proof of postage receipt. To cut a long story short, I am being charged for both sets of items despite returning one of the items I had ordered because it was too big.
I spoke to customer services, who were very nice, ad said they would send me a dispute form.. which I filled in only to receive an email saying that without proof of postage I was still liable. I said I was not happy with this and they supplied me with the name of the disputes manager who I am in the process of writing a letter to.
I do think though that this is going to get me nowhere - pass it off as bad experience and pay it off regardless? But why should I???0 -
I have been shopping with bon prix for 4/5 years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I return items bon prix do not refund the correct amount.
I love the clothes, hence why I continue to shop with them, but every time I return items, it is a huge battle to get my money refunded.
The longest I had to wait to be refunded was 6 months, and there is never a smooth transaction, it always involves 10 phone call (and this isn't an exaggeration).
This company has the worst customer services I have ever experienced, I am currently still battling with Bon prix for a refund that was due since July 2013.
Bon Prix has the audacity to send me a default payment letter advising me of non payment fees and interest charged to my account, but yet it is them who owes me money so in fact I should be charging them fees and interest!
I am disgusted with the service and their ability to resolve anything satisfactorily, always advising a manager will call me back and it never happens.
I'm still waiting for a call back form 21st August and today is the 27th Sept.
To call Bon prix is an 0871 number, so not a cheap number to continue to call, it has probably cost me more in phone calls than my refund is worth by now!0 -
I like many people i see before me, are in a battle to get my money back. i returned an item that was too small 2 days after i bought it i sent it back re; the courier company use.
6 weeks later still no refund i have contacted them several times and all i can say is if you pay peanuts you get monkeys, because clearly their staff do not know what they are doing.
I have given them all the information they have asked for but they seem to be incapable of imputing numbers into a computer correctly. As when the courier company got back to them the number was wrong no one bothered to contact me to let me know .
I have now rung them again and have given the info again i have also contacted my credit card company and they are going to launch there own investigation now.
So here we are, i'm still out of pocket they are laughing as they have my money and the item and this seems to be a trend with them i think will contact watchdog about this company and their policies.:mad:0 -
I think that bon prix customer policies need looking into as i have read time and time again not just on here but on trustpilot at how bad they are at refunding people money surely they can't get away with making people wait months for a refund:mad:.0
