Search the forum for POPLA lost and do what all the others are doing.

There is no concern by losing at POPLA and PPCs can't have £170.  Parkwatch are not litigious. Relax and come back if you get a claim because that's when you have a fair hearing.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you did not enter into a contract how on earth can you be in breach of one?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Has POPLA got a new influx of inmates straight out of mickey mouse land ??

I know it's private land but driving anywhere whilst talking on a mobile can be lethal, especially in car parks .... the OP did the right thing to stop.

Park Watch, just another BPA scammer.   The BPA should retrain their scammers how to be sensible but who will train the BPA to be sensible.?

Devil's Advocate ... the driver didn't need to answer the call (or make a call). ;)

(I've not read back through the thread to ascertain the specifics of this case).
  • Had my first letter come through from drp 15 days after they had sent it so I missed the 14 day window to pay the 170 pounds. I am standing firm and I am not going to pay this until I hear it from a judges mouth. I am just after some reassurance I am doing the right thing.

    Thanks for your time folks
