update looks like im going to get esa got this txt message
From: DWP
We will pay you about £950 owed for 12th May to 14th September ESA income related to the bank account you told us about. Your next payment will be about £111 for a two week payment and we will pay this on 28th September and again on 12th October. We will continue to pay you every 2 weeks. You do not need to contact us unless your circumstances change
not sure if this is esa on its own or with sdp added? and will i still need to apply for sdp?

If you have had a letter it should include a calculation showing how the amount is arrived at. If you are not sure ring them and ask if SDP is included.

£111 for two weeks sounds low but this thread is so long I have lost track of your other income.

Agreed with that. If i remember correctly then we worked it out to be about £60 per week, with the deductions.

thanks other income is 73 pounds industrial injuries benefit a week and 100 pounds mineworkers pension sceme approx a month im hopeless on the phone have severe speach disabilty after my stroke thanks

Looking back I see that I thought the entitlement would be about £60/week (it's on page 3 of the thread!) so the £111 is a bit less than I thought but probably includes the SDP. If you are placed in the Support Group the amount you receive will increase.

That will be decided once you've had the work capability assessment, which could see you placed into the work related activity group (WRAG), Support Group or found fit for work.

You will eventually be sent a work capability assessment form (ESA50) which you'll need to fill in and send back with all your evidence.
