Budgets updated to here
@PipneyJane well done on your amazing surplus! I've updated your budget
@sarahj1986 welcome back!
@zafiro1984 no problem - I tend to leave names on for a few months or if they are regulars, even if they don't declare for a bit - it just makes it a bit quicker and easier for me doing the budgets!
@taka welcome back!
@VickyV welcome!
@Pixiehouse55 - £300
€44.14 spent today
I’ve bought some meat, salad stuff, veg, fruit, eggs, frozen bits, crate of beer for my husband, pasta, bin bags, milk, big block of spanish cheese and cheddar cheese. This should do us a week although I need to go back in tomorrow to get water and some fizzy pop. I couldn’t carry it all in one go.€305.86 left:money::rotfl::T9 -
Afternoon all
Tuna pasta bake for me and spag bol for OH for dinner as use ups and another £7.50 to add to spends as I had to buy toilet roll and a root dye for my hair. Total so far £17.85 out of my budget, leaving £12. 15 left for the week...💷.
Hope I can do it. I can't think of anything we need but had a shuffle through to find I have some tinned things to go from the pantry so I will either place these on olio or donate to a food bank, helps someone out I'm sure.
I do need bin bags thou 😕
Scrap that now.. Only £6.25 left as "plus one" has just come back with £5.90 spend. No longer need bin liners 😂

Had a use up meal this evening and inspiration has struck over breakfast and ways to use up the dried fruit mountain so will be making low/no sugar crumbles to eat with a small dollop of yoghurt for the next few weeks.
Had to spend £20 from my budget as a donation to BHF in memory of a neighbour, couldn't think where else the money was coming from so that's £32/200 so far.

Just popping on to record my first spend of September. I have a Tesco delivery soon where I have spent £42. This is a top up shop because it will be a week before the next order. I ordered the usual milk and bread etc, also a load of fruit and salad for my lunches as I am swerving bread, pasta and potatoes as my diabetes is not good at the moment...one too many ice creams and biscuits I fear. I am thinking of changing my main meal time to lunch time as I usually have energy and time to cook in the morning but I am out of 'spoons' by the evening.

I'd like to join, please, with a budget of £250 for two adults and two (fussy, of course) cats.
I'm normally in and around that in terms of spend, but I'd like to get better at budgeting, and using any surplus for my larder.7
