Hello, I’d like to join you all this month. For various reasons I have not been so mindful of what I have been spending on groceries/household bits for the last few months so I have no idea what to estimate. I will aim for £200 this month and this is for myself and husband for all groceries/household/toiletries in September. Hoping to come in for less as have well stocked freezer and cupboards. Good Luck to all, and thank you for running this thread.

£14.25 at Co-op this morning.
Bread and treats, a sign of life.
Got in late last night, didn't fancy LO I took out so had cheese on toast, then needed more bread this morning when I was hungry so tempted by crisps and COOKIES. all will get eaten.
£175/£600 and jus realised its a 5 wk month so should really be at £120pw.
Will be conscious of that going forward and try to make sure I'm using the store cupboard - especially as meat is running low.June Grocery Challenge £0/£250

Coffee and a 4 pinter in. Plus pack of 6 skips for visiting little ones.
Only £1.10 to last until Saturday. Pretty sure we have everything now and all on track.
Home made chips for tea with BE chicken burger in a Warburton roll. Not quite a fake away but will do. Fruit for puds for me if any room as OH won't touch with barge pole. 😂

Hello everyone. I’m going to try for my normal £200 again this month. My son is back at school next Wednesday so packed lunches will begin. I’ve been feeding him all the holidays (honest 🤣) so shouldn’t be any more expensive. Going out for the day tomorrow but will take a picnic which I bought stuff for in last nights shop. So far I’ve spent £40 out of the budget but the cupboards are full so good til next weeks shop.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)6

Hi everyone, still on track as I haven't spent anything this month yet, did think I would have to at lunchtime but dd3 came up trumps and made me a salad at her house. (I was visiting at the time!!) so money in tact at the moment.

Hi all, another day, another spend of £1.50 on fresh lemons so that's £33.50/£200 to date. Have just decided to write my running total on my kitchen noticeboard for motivation, let's hope it works.
Will be making store cupboard chilli to use up rose harissa and tomato puree tomorrow and eating up leftover windfall apple crumble for breakfast.
Sweet dreams, goldfinches.8 -
Need to update other spends, but just putting this here so I don't forget. I couldn't sleep last night, so I made a small order from Yankee Bundles.
2 x 16 (short dated Larabars) £9.00 - these work out cheaper than getting Aldi's cacao bars

Milk, bread and cottage cheese bought today. £3.35/£250.
Homemade soup for lunch - tomato, red pepper and lentil - which cost £2.75 to make (roughly) and will do 5-6 portions, so not that much cheaper than tinned, but hopefully a bit healthier!!8 -
Spare bag of sugar (from 1stop) and some reduced packets of sugar free gum totalling £1 means I'm down to only 10p which has just gone in the holiday jar. So I'm at zero for food budget until Saturday 🤣
Things are getting eaten up slowly so I'm really pleased about that. Probably just have rice pudding for dinner as I'm home and had no breakfast.
Think I have at least 7kg of dog food so good for a while but will have to calculate it to see how long it will last.
