Round 1 completed. Big black cloud has gone - literally and figuratively speaking (although when I posted it was the one in the sky that I was talking about) so airer has been stood outside, first load of washing is pegged out and jeans are swishing. Sprouting potatoes have been binned. Cider has been put in the fridge and packaging binned. Ditto bottles of water and cans of coke. Bowl of pots is soaking.
There is a touch of method in the madness - all kitchen based for example but it's all being a bit random because that is how my brain has been recently. When I get into a book I'm fine, otherwise it's zip, zip, ohh, zip, ahh, zip, zip. My last brain dump was on 30th June - maybe I need another! Did you know that all odd numbers (in English) have an e in them? And I need to talk to DS about what sort of funeral I want - as in cardboard box and save the money for something special. (I'm not ill or anything I'm just remembering conversations I had with myself in the night.)
And breathe...
Round 2 =
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Maybe Graham Kendrick will calm things down

12 masks cut out and pressed ready to be sewn, these are for DD2 who goes back to uni at the end of the week and will need them for lectures and practical workshops, she also has limited laundry facilities. She also chose the fabric, grey with vintage Mickey mouse drawings on, lined with pale grey I already had. Have also found a washbag/pouch (airline business class thing) for her to keep the clean ones in.
Lunch ready for when OH gets home

Todays mission... find the kitchen floor! I've not seen it in weeks between piles of washing and bags of food which won't fit in my cupboard.. I have 4 baskets of unpaired socks to deal with and the second the girls start being annoying they are getting them passed over .
I am also finding floor in the front room.. it is an absolute sty and I have a headache just from looking at it..
Vacuum cleaners... Shark vs Henry... halp!!!
I'm going to have a drink or 3 and fix my 2 broken nails, feed the girls and crack on with the kitchen.. I had hoped to have my house tidy by the time they went back to school ala they make mess faster than I can tidy it, DD2 dropped her stuff back here, DS1 still hasn't moved out.. he has been here a full year today! And Nutkin pee's on everything so I am forever washing things I alreayd washed because I have no time to put anything away.
I might even look at todays list..

Morning all.
Had a lie in till almost eight after nearly ten hours sleep. So far today I have dusted dusty bits in living room and bedroom, changed bedding and washed and put old stuff on the line, put recycling out, quickly hoovered through and done dailies. I have also had an hour's walk with DH. I need to properly get our admin and budgets up to date but first I'm off to the dog field with Littleydog and poppet.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Oooh Jazee that sounds nice.. I didn't quite manage half of that amount of sleep! Both WM's on, TD on finishing off the skimpies I put in yesterday but it is nice today so will be hanging out the 2 loads when they've finished.

Tardy flylady reporting for duty. Currently thoroughly absorbed in Line Of Duty (i player).
Anyway washing on line, maiden full of ironed washing airing in sunny bedroom before putting away. (I have no airing cupboard so everything needs to be bone dry before it goes away). Breakfast and lunch eaten. Soil swept back into rabbit hole. I can watch LoD on the ipad while itoning but I never have a full programme's worth of ironing lol.
Thanks for the thread Natty.

Jeans have been pegged out. Mr M delivery has been put away.
My name is Roundtuit and the covid pandemic has triggered my hoarding gene. For example we now have 95.5 toilet rolls and 8 tubes of toothpaste...and I wasn't one of the people who ransacked the shops at the beginning of the plague - but I'm not getting caught out if it happens again. The money that I don't need to spend on wash pods, softener, shampoo, deodorant. washing up liquid et all for the next erm year(?) will come in handy for Christmas shopping (online of course).
