Got up at 5a.m. so we could get to Dds graduation in time.

Had a lovely day and a posh Italian meal at lunchtime - still feel full of food!

The champagne and canapes at 10a.m was nice too!!!!

Finally managed to get onto the forum and find out what I missed.

    Penny Pincher

Hope you get the improvements done and it makes things a bit easier

    Hester

Best of luck with the lodger!

    Scuzz

Sounds as if you missed a classy evening (not!)

Going to have an early night as I feel too tired to think right now.

    Hugs to everybody

    Hi

How has everyone managed it? MSE not working properly again - I've only managed to get in by going into my "history" on my pc - website ungettable the normal way. Its hiccuping its way through this way - taking ages to do things - (as it has the last day or so).

    Is it under attack again?

    Hi you all

I have just been through everything again today ( you know I can't post or thank from work and only read). So touched by all your messages today - Mr and Mrs Granny Broon really appreciate the congrats and unfortunately I couldn't nip home at lunch-time!. We have just had a steak dinner. Got GF grill out and totally overdid the steaks. DH bought yellow-stickered Popeye steaks yesterday in Somerfield, totally banged them out before I got home and basically all they needed was a flash grill. I gave them 4 minutes! Big celebration at weekend when we go out to a really posh restaurant with friends and we know too much drink with the good food! We will spend ridiculous money but we hardly ever go out.

Never did find the card and still a bit upset. Anyway, got a really good one locally today and DH so good about it! (He is watching football downstairs tonight - Celtic playing but not sure if showing down south).

DD got wonderful photos taken yesterday, but unfortunately the '3 of them' pictures not the best the individual ones are gorgeous. I would love to post one of them all as they are just beautiful but I do worry about doing it in the public domain.

Red R - hope all OK. Glad you are home.

dlb - Happy Birthday to dear dd. Hope the party has gone well and that DS1 OK.

PennyP - hope you are OK. Sorry about the loo issues.

CrazyC - I think you must go and see this lovely person in hospital. Him and his wife obviously regard you as close family. Hope the cheque arrived!

Mrs Macawber (if you are watching) - the books we have (vinegar etc), well there is a new one in Dobbies for £2.99 -everything you need to do with Bicarbonate of Soda!

Kyle - so glad to hear little one's arm seems ok. We have a problem with DGS1 and 2 with some pe*** problems with DGS1 (his wee wi*** ousing gunk) and coughing with DGS2 and having to have asthma puffer. Love to Twink too.

Aussie, well you and bus drivers - bet you did said the bad words. Glad you had a great time though and congrats on the Chrimbo shopping.

Scuzz - as a Mum - so glad you didn't go there! I used to worry about my two over drinking and doing silly things!

Sorry I haven't mentioned the rest of you - honest, you are fantastic!

    Love GB xxxxxxxxxx

    Evening everyone :hello:

I haven't "checked in" recently, so I'll post then read the rest of the thread.

I hope that everyone is ok. (((hugs))) to all those that need them.

School has just gone from bad to worse. You remember that I was off sick for four days a couple of weeks ago? Well, I had a return to work interview last Thursday (a whole week after I'd actually gone back to work) only to get an oral warning for things that I "hadn't done" or they "couldn't find" in my classroom. I admitted to one thing that I hadn't done (due to illness), but the rest of it I had done and things WERE available in the classroom. One lovely teacher, who is in the same union as me is helping me along and assisting me in contacting our union due to various "discrepancies" in the lack of procedures that the head went through. :(

Other than that, I'm looking forward to Christmas. Most Christmas cards have been written and I just need to do the ones for my class...... They all seem to be sending me one, so luckily I have some left over from my class last year :D.

    Bye for now.

Well off to have a surf and think I might wrap all my presents that I bought yesterday. :D Hope you get a good nights sleep, esp Haribo who likes to thump the cat around the bedroom at night. ;) Byeeeeeeeeeee
