Hi again, thought id post again now iv got one very excited dd to school.
Well ds1 finally got to sleep at 3ish then dd came into our bed at 4am asking to get up!! We held her off until 6am!! She has been out on garden before school playing on her new light up scooter which in good old moneysaving style i got free from catalog discount codes found on the site!!
Ds1 is feeling ok but hasnt been to the loo for 3 days now and im sure once he does he will feel loads better only problem is because he keeps being sick he doesnt want to eat much, so hes drinking lots of water and eating satsumas!! Hoping that helps him anyone got any other suggestions???

Plan for today, tidy, iron and make shep pie to have after we get back from dd party, and wrap up some more xmas presents although because ds1 is at home it will have to be friends/family presents i wrap!!!

I have fell in love with my dishwasher, the kitchen just always looks tidy now as i just hide the pots away!! Makes me wonder how i managed without one!!lol.
Right have a wonderful day everyone

Scuzz - how did Saturday go? Did your friend manage to spend her £100 and find a bloke???

I didn't go. I couldn't face it. She texted me at midday saying she was already drinking!!!!!! She slept with her ex before going out and then got so plastered, she ended up throwing up in a doorway in town. I'm so glad I didn't go. I was safely tucked up by 9pm!!:D

Dlb - not sure about satsuma's if DS is being sick! They are an acidy fruit, try him with some lightly buttered toast (kids dont eat plain toast)

    Morning everyone:santa2:

    Not much happening here today.

I'm off into town later to find fillers for our HM christmas crackers that the girls have made. I've thought of sweets and have some jokes but wanted to put some little puzzles etcetera in them, so that's this afternoon sorted.

WM on it's second load and I've a bit of ironing left that needs to be done, but otherwise it's pretty tidy.

Need to pick up some Polytar for DD2 as she has a terribly flakey scalp and it's really itching her at the moment, which of course, makes it worse.

smoky ....... things must be tough at the moment. I hope things improve soon and your OH improves. You said his blood sugars are all over the place, well I know that can make a person more snappy than usual. In any event hug_smiley_sm.gifSending hugs to youhug_smiley_sm.gif

smoky hugs to you and DH

grannybroon happy anniversary to you both xx

well off to hospital at 11.30, for my small op, should hopefully be back tonight unless they want to keep me in, need to rest up afterwards, so have made a lasagne for tea, which will just be shoved in the oven when I get back.

Still got DD at home with ear infection, she is ok in herself, but in lots of pain with the ear, do you think I should send her in tomorrow, or shall I keep her in the warm ?

Bit nervous, and cant even have a cup of tea, might have a tidy round to keep myself busy, hugs to all

    Sue
  • Crazychik the old couple sound as though they have genuine affection for you. Hope you manage to visit him in hospital. Good luck with the dentist too.

redruby good luck with the op. You'll probably find that the nerves are worse than the actual op. ((hugs)) Every time I see your name, it reminds me that I must turn the mars vodka! Haven't done it for a few days as I haven't been on here!

dlb could your DS manage something like a little bowl of lentil soup? It might help him with the constipation problem and it shouldn't be too heavy on his tummy. Hope he starts to feel better soon. ((hugs))

Need to jump in the shower - which is a sure sign that I will miss the mobile phone delivery. Might pop next door and ask my neighbour to keep an eye out for me.

REDRUBY - Hope everything goes well today. Re your DD - if she's still in pain tomorrow, I'd keep her home, especially in this damp and cold weather.

DLB - Happy Birthday to DD. You need to make sure your DS drinks plenty of fluids - water is best, and, if he hasn't been to the loo for three days, perhaps try him on some prunes - dried or tinned. They are an effective natural laxative.

ANNIEBOOKLOVER - will definitely try your anti-cough advice! Thanks.

PENPIN - glad your OT visit looks hopeful. As far as the snip goes, I think your DH is very brave, a lot braver than mine, who wouldn't even consider it!

AUSSIE - you rebel! I do hope you weren't the someone who shouted that rude word (which obviously means the same there as it does here! Lol!)

ESSEX-GIRL - you're another one that has to deal with business accounts, aren't you? I hate it with a vengeance. Ours aren't due to be submitted for a while but I have to bring them right up to date because he's just registered as a contractor and now there's a whole new mountain of paperwork to be studied and implemented and it all has to be with HMRC on 19th of every month. Oh, joy!

DONNY-GAL - thanks for the recylenow link - I've just had a quick look and it's really interesting and constructive. I've bookmarked it for future reference.

MR and MRS GRANNYBROON - Happy Anniversary.

HARDUP-HESTER - how on earth have you put up with that lodger all this time. You must be saintly!

CRAZY - (((hugs))) to your friend in hospital. He sounds like a lovely man.

Well, we can add another poorly LO to the thread. My DGS won't be coming round for dinner tonight because he has a stinking cough and cold. I hate it when they just wake up one morning with it. He was full of beans on Sunday when the whole family came round. I don't think children should ever be ill but, no doubt, his sister will be the next one to get it.

Anyway, I've just been up to the shop to get some milk and the paper, and I bought some chocolate coins to put in my Mum's Christmas stocking and some choccies for the tree. It drizzled with rain all the way but it's not too cold at the moment. I have the ironing board up ready so I will do that in a minute and then do some more paperwork. Now that DGS won't be coming round, I shall do some more Christmas wrapping and I also have to wrap DS2's birthday presents for Thursday.

Dinner is prepped - Spaghetti Bolognese - nice and easy, and I made some cheese and tomato rolls for lunch. WM's just finished so I'll have to put it all on the airer. No chance of pegging it out today!

Anyway, off to tackle the ironing. Will come back later.

Morning all, what a warm day for December!

Snowy, I know how you feel. I've only ever had random fillings, then I broke a tooth a year or so ago and had it removed, then I broke another and because I delayed treatment it has decayed and is being compacted by another tooth - I'm in constant pain and have a swollen, ulcerated gum. I've suddenly turned into a nervous patient so opted to have a general anaesthetic. Waited 2 months for a hospital check up who said I have more decay on the other side and want to send me back to my dentist before they put me under un-necessarily! I need to make an appointment with my dentist, but can't face it at all, so I'm living on codine and prayer which I know I can't do for long, but then I'll have to wait another two months for another hospital check up and then a further five or more months before I can have the general and the removal/treatment! I'm petrified!

Sorry for the waffle but its stressing me out and to top it all OH and I have started arguing for the first time in our relationship having just moved in together! He makes me so mad with his thoughtlessness.

Hugs to those with ill relatives, I know I'm not in a bad position and there are worse out there than me.

    Hi all

Back from the dentist - no fillings or other work to be done:j:j She did give my tootles a good polish, that is soooo painful for me as my teeth are very sensitive, I was almost crying. (What a wuss I am:rotfl:)

And little Mitzi has been to the vet - she is a lot braver than me, the vet put staples in her wound and didn't give her an anaesthetic. Don't panic, he did apply a topical local anaesthetic, he's not a total meanie. She wet herself on the way home though, poor little thing.

Scuzz...eewww your friend...omg that is repulsive!! Sorry, I know she is your friend, but I am glad that puking up in doorways isn't your idea of a good time.

AussieLass - that bus driver must have gone to the same charm school as some of the bus drivers in London. What a dipstick.

thriftmonster...I'm looking forward to Ikea opening, but I really do feel sorry for the locals. I used to work in one of the Ikeas in London, the traffic jams it caused were horrendous, especially at weekends and bank holidays. Err, sorry I was going to try and cheer you up...

anniebooklover...how can a six year old possibly warrent being excluded from school?? Sounds like some of the grown-ups in her life have failed her and they need the punishment, not her.

Have to go to wo*k soon. Boo hooooo!! I almost prefer going to the dentist...

    Snowy
