could do with a vodka ka ka now, do you think the hospital would notice, I would wipe the mars bars off me chin first. xxx

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could always treat yourself to some when you come home and then you wouldn't have to wipe your chin! (Seriously though, I hope everything goes well for you.)

Skint Catt putting things off won't help the problem, hun. Make that appointment and get the ball rolling. Just think of the day when you are no longer in pain.

Snowy I've just been reading the supplementary documentation I need for the meeting. It is quite upsetting to read as she has a range of problems - social, emotional and behavioural. She is also displaying sexualised behaviour. It is quite upsetting to read. I really hope that the powers that be help her become the lovely little girl that is no doubt in her somewhere. Her mother desperately needs parenting help too by the sounds of it.

Mobile hasn't turned up yet. I'm sure it will turn up when I have gone out for this meeting and my neighbour won't be in to take it for me.

  • Hi

    Me again.

ANNIEBOOKLOVER What a poor little !!!!!!. Hope things improve her soon.

DLB You could try your DS on breadsticks or toast. Even crisps would be ok as they help to replace salt.

REDRUBY hope your op goes ok, I would keep DD off tomorrow if her ear still hurts.

Sorry to hear such sad news in yesterday's thread about poorly parents. :grouphug: hugs to all:A xxx

    Hi all

havent read thread yet as the pages keep taking ages to load:rolleyes: back from the hospital with lo and he has full function of his arm but there is still a slight angle of the bone but dr said this would straighten in time, think lo was remembering when he broke his arm as he was very cuddly to the dr's and very quiet, poor man.

    Afternoon!

I've been trying to get here on and off all day. It's official, the site doesn't like meicon9.gif I can't get in by typing the address, nor by using my bookmark. I've had to come via Google!!!! Each time I've got in, it won't let me negotiate the boards for more than a couple of minutes:confused: Consequently, although I've read all your posts (only taken 6 hours:eek: ) I can't remember too many. Sorry:o

Snowy, I do know your dentist appointment went well, so hurrah:T Hope Mitzi's wound heals properly this time.

Happy Birthday Miss dlb, have a lovely afternoon after school:bdaycake:
Oh and dlb, I'd tend to say try to steer DS towards less acidic food, but when they're poorly I used to let mine eat whatever they fancied, just to get some calories in:confused:

Aussie, what is it with you and buses:rotfl: :rotfl: I'm sure it wasn't you that shouted that rude word, someone as refined as you wouldn't even know what it meant:rolleyes: :D Oh and joined the sick-making tribe of *I've done all my Christmas shopping* have we?:p :rotfl: Talk about gamekeeper turned poacher:p :p But I'll forgive you, glad you had a good time with Dsis:D

Pink, hope Adam's feeling better. Thank goodness you'd been warned of the possible swelling. It must have been alarming enough, imagine if you'd not known of the possibility:eek:

As this has taken so long to be able to do, I'll have to get off. Need to wash my hair, and then get to the shops again, oh joy!!!

I have tried to thank everyone but it's taken loads of *sweeps* already. I'll go back and try to surprise the button into finishing off:rotfl:

Take care, goodness only knows when I'll get back on,

    CM

Back again - Churchmouse I had that once and had to change the security settings on my computer - cant remember what to mind, just that I had to change them.

Miolere - yes I do business accounts for my business and mine & oh's joint buiness. The reason Im doing them now is we went from sole trader to a limited company in September - have finished the accounts which is good but think we will be having a rather large tax bill than we were expecting in January.

Am pleased with myself today - have got quite a bit done in the office and posted a couple of ebay parces. However B Gas man only turned up a short while ago and looks like will be here for sometime - this means I cant get in the kitchen. May well have to resort to a takeaway - will give him till 6.30 then will start ordering.

Am at a bit of a loss - need to be nearby in case he needs anything so think will sit down and watch some telly guilt free.

    Have a lovely evening.

    evening all,

Back from hospital, went ok, bit sore, and loosing a bit of blood but ok, will have an early night tonight, and rest tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes.

when I went to see the consultant in march I saw a very rude lady DR, I don't know if you remember, but I put a complaint in about her, got a letter back from the hospital applogising and assuring me that she would not be there today, guess what ?? yup she was, and still being rude and abusive, I nearly walked out, until the top consultant assured me she would have no more to do with my case. I am so glad its al over, and I don't have to see her again.

    Hugs to you all
and thanks for the good wishes
    xx

The fact that there aren't as many posts as usual by this time suggests that Churchmouse and I aren't the only one's having great trouble getting on here today. I had trouble last night too, and somewhere on DFW there's a thread about it - others there couldn't get on via bookmarks etc. I googled too!
Anyhow, feeling very sorry for myself today as staff are all like hedgehogs and I'm wondering if we'll get to the end of term (or ven the christmas production) without WW3 breaking out! They're all lovely people really - just very, very over-stressed at the moment. I came home wondering if I could just retire a year early and get out NOW!!!Love to all, and ((((hugs)))) to those who need one - and congrats to those celebrating!

Anniebooklover, hope something gets sorted out, we have kids at our school who have had problems since infant school, lots of meeting held, lots of recommendations, but never enough money for the recommendations to be acted upon.
The lodger has gone out for the evening, heaven knows where!! The only reason I put up with her is for the money, hubby's next 3 jobs have all been cancelled, due to planning problems. Last time this happened he was out of work for 8 months. I earn enough to pay the regular bills, but only have £15 a week left for food this year as all the bills went up.
Mt T delivered at 5 & all put away. I'm going to change the bed, have a shower & go to bed.
    Hugs Hester
