  • Sounds great, keep chipping away into savings and you'll feel more in control.

  • One of the extras I have had to factor in is going to the chiropractor.  Luckily, I had a good amount of money in the beauty budget so just renamed it beauty and health.  I qualified for physiotherapy through my GP, but an 18 month wait rendered this a bit useless!! I don't begrudge the chiropractor at all.  I doubt I would still be in a job without her.

Stay on the waiting list though, use your chiropractor while you wait.

I must admit it's the one thing I've happily paid for and I got a lot more help / information as my whole body was assessed as a unit, rather than seeing different consultants for individual health issues and nothing getting pieced together.

  • I had some good news today. Received a statement for some odd account with some money and couldn’t for the life of me think what it was for. Then I realised. Probably, couple of years ago, I changed energy suppliers, they put the direct debit down, but I stuck the difference to the original in this account. So, I have £98 towards my energy bills in this account and my account with 🐙 is £108 in credit. So a bit less stressed all round re fuel bills.
  • Great news MW that will be a good chunk towards the winter fuel bill

  • My personal laptop at home has just about had it. I gave it to one of the IT guys in work to see what could be done, but he just sent a crying with laughter emoji back to me. To be fair, it is nearly 6 years old, so it’s done it’s stuff. I do have a saviour though as it’s my birthday this week and bf has offered to buy new one. Usually, I hate practical presents and would much rather have something frivolous. This time, though, I am definitely going to accept kind offer. I can always buy myself a little treat on the day.
  • Nice to see your workmate broke the news gently! Well done BF, sometimes needs must and it's a good gift.
