Why on earth are you selling a car in this way?
Private sale - the most money but the most hassle.
Part Ex - least money but easiest.
Sell into motor trade - need to shop around for a willing buyer. The likes of WBAC are woefully underpriced.
No idea why you’d be using a third party agent unless this was something very rare and expensive (which it’s not).
I actually did say that as well and agree. Years ago someone at work asked us about that and we said no - but they went ahead, then after the min 4 week period they got their car back and it was hard work and about 300 miles on the clock added and the dealer told them, "it is test drive mileage."  The work mate was not happy and the dealer point to the small print.

    Well, it is very rare...
    It's an RS4 avant.
    but...
    not an Audi variant
    That is very rare indeed.

It's not something I would have ordinarily chosen to do however I bought the car from them years ago (positive transaction) and I was moving 5 hours across the country. I already have a few cars so it was one less to take and store (no extra storage at the new place) - I had tried selling it privately on the lead up to the move with not much success and the company assured an agreeable return. It was easy until I caught them out.

Just like people posting about their Non-Audi RS4 Avant, but asking for help from volunteers on a public forum who are then led up the garden path.  An abuse of peoples' generosity in my book.  It is likely that better advice could have been given more quickly if the question was complete and honest.
But the car make/model had no real bearing on the question being asked, beyond getting a rough idea of what the car was worth.
