    105 Days to Go........

Quick visit - I've spent all day catching up on my TV shows whilst my OH isn't here!! I've binge watched the entire second season of A Discovery of Witches!! It's just so much easier to watch stuff without my OH yapping away.

Anyway, £5 paid off the card today, just to keep things going, so the balance is now £1,850. My eBay items finish tonight, and I've got the grand total of £2.10 so far!!! I am hoping for a bit more before they finish in a couple of hours. I've just quickly got another 5 listings ready to go for this week. I'll be okay next week, but might struggle the week after for items to list. Will have to get searching!!

Will get back on the earning tomorrow, and am hoping to get 10 articles written next week, will have to be on the ball to pick them up though.

Ebay update - 3 of the 5 items sold, and £7.50 made. I'm quite happy with that. Let's hope they get paid.

    104 Days to Go........

£10 paid off the card this morning, so the balance is now £1,840. I've going to pay £10 a day off the card, despite what extra money comes in, so I know I will reach my target no matter what. Any extra money will go towards next week's target. Only one of my eBay items has been paid so far, hopefully the others will be today too.

I'm struggling to get any articles to write this morning, although I have done over £5 worth of surveys, so it's not too bad. Will keep trying.

We've got our next lot of Hello Fresh meals through, but we're not getting a shopping delivery until Saturday, so need to get through until then. I've told my OH not to go into any supermarkets as it's the place he might get this horrible virus. I think he might go to his mum's again at the weekend, or not if they scrap support bubbles. He might have to move in with her for a bit, as she won't be able to go and get her vaccine without the means to get there.

Sounds as if the surveys are compensating a bit for the lack of articles.  You're doing really well with your debt-busting.

I wondered if it was just round here (very rural) but supermarket delivery slots are getting very few and far between again, like in the first lockdown when sometimes I had to wait almost 3 weeks for one!  Not quite as bad just yet though , I managed to book one for 11 days ahead.  There were a few for very late evening (9 or 10 o'clock) but I don't want them because we live down a long, unlit country lane with no other houses so if it isn't one of the regular drivers who's been here before I worry about the delivery getting here.  Apparently their SatNav seems to play up in this locality and mobile signals are very hit and miss.

I don't think the Govt will be scrapping support bubbles ........or will they?  Have you heard any rumblings?

    Thank you.

Yes I agree that delivery slots are getting scarce again. I've got a weekly one with Asda thank goodness, but I have found that Sainsbury's isn't too bad for slots, and I can always seem to get my mum an Iceland slot when she needs it.

I have heard that scrapping support bubbles is one of the ways they are thinking of tightening up the lockdown. I think some people are using them as an excuse to mingle, when they aren't really needed or valid. It would be a shame for the people who are using them properly though. At the end of the day, if people aren't going to follow the rules, then nothing will stop them.
