    Thanks everyone   o:)

I'm cracking on with my list:

    1. Clean the en-suite - Wednesday
    2. Clean out bedroom - Wednesday
    3. Change the bedding
    4. Clean the living room - Thursday
    5. Clean out my animals - Thursday
    6. Sort through my wardrobe and bedside cabinet
    7. Get all the washing done. - Thursday
    8. Put the Christmas decorations away.
I've got one load of washing to put out, and will put another one on before I break for lunch. Then it's just a case of cleaning my en-suite and bedroom, which I hope won't take anymore than an 1-2 hours.

I've had a few payments come in, but will hold back until Friday to start making payments again. I managed to find some stuff to sell, so I will list it on eBay gradually, and hopefully get a bit of money for it, although I'm not expecting loads.

Excellent news about the vaccine. I am hoping that they might have some at the hospital when I go on 13th January, but I think it's unlikely. I'm 4th on the list of priority groups, so I don't think I'll get it for another 1-2 months yet.

Everything done that I wanted to do today. Not much to do tomorrow now, so I should be finished in the morning. I've done two loads of washing today and it's drying, so that should be ready to be put away tomorrow, and I think I've got another two loads to do at least. The shopping came early too, so I can relax now.

Done almost everything I wanted to do. Just got to finish off the washing (one more load to hang out and another to put through), so I'm not doing anything else for the rest of the year!! The hard work starts tomorrow to get that card cleared ASAP.

I hope everyone has a good new year's eve, and I'll be back next year!!

I keep meaning to ask you, are you on this new drug? xx
Yeah, I've been on Kaftrio since 10th October. I'm going to the hospital on 13th January (hopefully!) to have my oxygen reassessed, as I don't think I need it now when I'm just sat around doing nothing. I know I still need it when I'm walking around and doing exercise, and probably when I'm sleeping, but we'll see what the hospital says. My breathing is definitely a lot better and my cough is practically non existent now. When I do cough, it doesn't sound like me any more. I guess it's the cough of a "normal" person now!!

Just found this thread, you may remember that I sent you a pm message a few months back after I read another of your threads.(I have a daughter with CF).  I am so happy for you that you are taking Kaftrio. My daughter said that it was one of the best days of her life when she was told that she could take it, but unfortunately she had to stop taking it after the first few days as it made her very ill. It caused an allergic reaction to another drug that she was taking. Well done on getting rid of MIL - mine came to stay once & kept staying for 'just another day'. I thought she'd be with us for ever!

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that. I have heard of some CFers that have problems with it, have to stop it for a week or two, and then their doctors reintroduce it again, but at either half a dose or just a couple of times a week, and that often helps. I really hope she gets the chance to try it again. I feel lucky that I haven't had any reactions or bad side effects with it.

My MIL knows that trick too. There's always some excuse to stay for longer.

Happy New Year to you and your family.
