I've had a few payments come in, but will hold back until Friday to start making payments again. I managed to find some stuff to sell, so I will list it on eBay gradually, and hopefully get a bit of money for it, although I'm not expecting loads.
Excellent news about the vaccine. I am hoping that they might have some at the hospital when I go on 13th January, but I think it's unlikely. I'm 4th on the list of priority groups, so I don't think I'll get it for another 1-2 months yet.

Hope they will have by the 13th~~especially with the new ones

Done almost everything I wanted to do. Just got to finish off the washing (one more load to hang out and another to put through), so I'm not doing anything else for the rest of the year!! The hard work starts tomorrow to get that card cleared ASAP.
I hope everyone has a good new year's eve, and I'll be back next year!!

Just found this thread, you may remember that I sent you a pm message a few months back after I read another of your threads.(I have a daughter with CF). I am so happy for you that you are taking Kaftrio. My daughter said that it was one of the best days of her life when she was told that she could take it, but unfortunately she had to stop taking it after the first few days as it made her very ill. It caused an allergic reaction to another drug that she was taking. Well done on getting rid of MIL - mine came to stay once & kept staying for 'just another day'. I thought she'd be with us for ever!Emzilla said:
Yeah, I've been on Kaftrio since 10th October. I'm going to the hospital on 13th January (hopefully!) to have my oxygen reassessed, as I don't think I need it now when I'm just sat around doing nothing. I know I still need it when I'm walking around and doing exercise, and probably when I'm sleeping, but we'll see what the hospital says. My breathing is definitely a lot better and my cough is practically non existent now. When I do cough, it doesn't sound like me any more. I guess it's the cough of a "normal" person now!!beanielou said:I keep meaning to ask you, are you on this new drug? xx

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that. I have heard of some CFers that have problems with it, have to stop it for a week or two, and then their doctors reintroduce it again, but at either half a dose or just a couple of times a week, and that often helps. I really hope she gets the chance to try it again. I feel lucky that I haven't had any reactions or bad side effects with it.kayannie said:

My MIL knows that trick too. There's always some excuse to stay for longer.
