Hope you're having a good Christmas.2 -
Evening everyone.
It's still going badly here. OH says he will take her home on Monday evening, so I hope he sticks to his word. I think it's worse this time round because I literally can't go anywhere. I can't work, can't visit my family, can't go to the shops, and if I go for a walk, she would want to come with me. Just stuck here basically in our flat, that isn't really big enough for 3 people and a dog.
Anyway, another £5 paid off the card thanks to Prolific. Balance is now £2,342.66.

That is really hard Emz, I am sorry. Only one day left hopefully. And so impressive on the CC front.
XXNevertheless she persisted.3 -
Looks like it will be Tuesday now, as there's someone looking at her house on Tuesday morning, so they don't want to be there. It always goes like this. We set a day for her to go back, and then the excuses come to extend it. Never mind that we are in a tier 4 area and she shouldn't be here. Not happy.
One good thing though is that I have paid the Christmas money off my card. So the balance is now.......drumroll please........£2,192.66!!! Would love to get it below £2k by the end of the year, but will have to settle for early January instead I think. My aim it to get it down to £1,500 by the start of February, but that will take some doing. Mind you, I'm not going into work, so will have the time to earn lots of extra cash. If I do that, then I can clear £500 in February, March and April, so that it's clear for my birthday at the end of April.

I've been doing some calculations, mainly because I am bored and avoiding his mother, and if I want to clear the remaining £2,200 (just under) by my birthday (114 days from 1st January), then I need to clear around £20 a day from it. I think I can earn £10 a day no problems, and maybe even more some days, so if I can find other ways of paying off £10 from our account (saving money on food shopping, finding stuff to sell etc), then I should be okay. I will officially start with the £10 earnings a day from 1st January, even if I can't pay it off straight away, if I know I have earned it, then it will come through eventually.
The good news is that I got loads of nice things for Christmas that I needed, so I won't need to buy any clothes, toiletries etc for a while. I'm also going to go through my stuff, when I'm finally on my own, to see if there is anything I can sell. I haven't got much I know, but there might be some stuff that I won't use. I've got loads of make-up and toiletries, so want to see what I have there, as I think it will all last me ages.
Priority Number 1 is to clear the card. Everything else can wait!! 114 days starts from 1st January.
