Personally couldn't care less what a card looks like! That's not why I choose an account (I do rather like the BOS card 'though!)

The  bad news is the fact that my two TSB accounts will be looking for new switching deals if those accounts  will be earning  zero peanuts. I already have a clutch of accounts which could move to pastures new- if it were possible!
The end of great interest and welcome handshakes is grinding to a complete halt.......
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Why do you assume that I'd quote from something I'd only heard about, and which may be wrong, rather than from something I've seen with my own eyes, so I know it's correct?
I downloaded the presentation at the time, so I've still got a copy of it.  I couldn't find the publicly available link yesterday, or I would have posted it.  I'm grateful to the others who've now found it and posted it on here.
The Sabadell link is the full presentation.  The one still on TSB's website is a summary of it.
You having a bad day at the office?

I must be odd because I couldn't care less what my cards look like.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

I guess soon cards won't be around, it will be all virtual. I suspect in five years, you may have to request a card, and instead they will have some kind of electronic delivery to your phone as default. Some Micky Mouse banks already do it.

I will always carry cash, and I will always carry a card. Cash in kind, and failing that a physical card is king, in my mind anyway.

    Which banks do it?
  • Just opened another Classic Plus (as you do) so will post pic of new card in next few days *if* it's the new design. Soon find out...... I won't use the card, literally shove £1500 in and move to one of the rewards and back again to meet the additional criteria.

    Revolut

    https://blog.revolut.com/introducing-spare-revolut-cards/

If you’ve ever lost your bank card, you’ll know how annoying it is to sift through your accounts for online purchases and update your card details.
Now, you can generate an impossible-to-lose Revolut's virtual card and use it for all of your online payments (Uber, Deliveroo etc.). You’ll never have this problem again!
Update to the latest version of our iOS and Android App to use this feature. To order a spare Revolut card, go to the ‘Card’ section of the App and swipe left on your virtual Revolut card.

  • That's not a bank! It's an e-money thing! Like PayPal essentially.
