Good afternoon. Very rainy here.
Towel laundry nearly finished.
Popping in after emergency house cleaning to make it visitor friendly. Not perfect but will have to do. Hope we are finally going to get some help. DS2 has just said he doesn’t want to see the lady so it could get interesting.
I will try to come back later.9 -
Dancemum we’re here for you, sending you love and strength xx7

Hi all
Just finished paid stuff, I’m off to deal with the plums LOL
Dailies done this morning, i will fling a load in the wm now so it can do while I’m in the kitchen for a while.
Have a good evening, hugs to all x7 -
Evening all,
Hugs to you, dancemum x
DH has just gone to pick up a takeaway, as agreed between himself and DD. I think it’s his idea of it being his turn to cook. I might have had a bit of a moan the other day about working , being out of the house all day and still doing all the cooking etc etc. Thank you for your kind thoughts - the GP has dismissed the return of his illness for the time being. I’m not convinced that it isn’t work stress related / stress bringing back the symptoms, but we will see how it pans out.
Flying will resume tomorrow. This evening I am hoping for a curl up on the sofa doing very little x

Rain here too, and I've had a migraine, so I've spent most of the day asleep. Managed to take Rosie out for her walk late this afternoon and cooked chicken curry for tea - it felt right with this weather. I shall not be doing much this evening!
But two items that I had offered on Freecycle have gone, and I have takers for all the others [fer-ling!]
Hope you got the help you need, dancemum xx7 -
Hi all
Dancemum really hope the help you are offered works out. So many parents like you are doing and coping with far more than they should. Good luck with it x
Well my 11.30am finish at work extended until 4pm, just too many things that had to be done. I am going back into the office next week for two days. Spoke to my assistant today and she is finding it hard not having any face to face contact, and the time feels right. We will see how it goes.
Minimal flying again, off tomorrow, meeting family for a walk then they are coming back here for a BBQ - will just remind myself that the house doesnt have to be spotless and the food doesnt have to be perfect, they are coming to spend time with me.8 -

That's happened to me a couple of times, Valli. It's scary until you realise that it's not really a problem! But I am left wondering if your house was already immaculate or if you polished everything in a fit of rage
I have put the single bedding in the AM because the forecast says it will be good drying weather tomorrow, and now it's tipping down again. And I have just cleaned the ensuite because I wanted DH's towel and bath mat ready for another load when I get up in the morning (he stays in bed much later than I do). I wonder if he will notice!7 -
Morning all
I’ve been awake an hour already, cuppa made and drunk, brain dump written. Perhaps I need to go away again to sleep better? Bedroom is cool, no clutter so it is restful, not sure what the answer is...
Ho hum, busy day of work stuff awaits, will just get showered and dressed and get on with things I think.
ooh, and plum cake worked, it’s delicious! Rest of plums prepped and in freezer, good job I defrosted the freezer on Monday so I had lots of space! May make another cake this weekend to send up to FIL.
have a good one all, hugs, sticks, spoons available as needed x8
