Morning xx
Thank you YL xx I can usually think of the perfect answer after the moment has passed too. It's so annoying.
Bed is made and I'm showered, hair washed, dressed, breakfasted, lunch is packed and brew has been slurped. Not bad for someone who's wading through the treacle of anxiety this morning.....which is crazy because I'm not moving until tomorrow at the earliest (unless they moved me in my absence yesterday!!!)
And breathe. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, and lots of hugs, especially to Narc0, YL and Round.
DSis and BiL came at the weekend. We did spend nearly all the time outside, but I know that I will have missed cleaning somewhere that they touched indoors on their way through.
DH made a Dr phone appointment last night for tomorrow morning. When we first met (back in the dark ages...), he was recovering from being seriously ill. It turns out that he is worried that it might have returned. Been worrying for a month, no less. If it has, it will not have been helped / may have been triggered by the stupid stress that he is under at work.
It’s my day off today, so hopefully the house will look a bit less of a pit than it is atm by the end of the day. I have already read a chunk of my book, after listening to someone’s car idling outside earlier plus the noisy wood pigeons.Towels are in the wm, so 1 job from the actual list. Then I think that I will dig potatoes for a couple of hours before I find another excuse not to.
Have a lovely day all x7 -
When you can't think of a response ask for clarification of their point, this gives you a bit of thinking time.

I've hoovered round!
and emptied loads of dust etc out of the bagless thingy.
Food bought that can be eaten either cold or be microwaved.Workers here bang and crashing in the kitchen, they tell me they are building unit today outside, lets hope the rain keeps off, it chucked it down here big time again yesterday.Admin stuff today for a bit, then I might cut the grass if it has dried out enough, the sun is out so that will help.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all, and big (((hugs))) to all in need, especially Fayolle and DH, Narc0, YL and round. Also a cheery wave to Skint! And I hope that you're still keeping your head above water, Dizzy!
I did a long list of little jobs yesterday, as well as going out for lunch with my friend S at the nice local GC, which meant that I decluttered ££ on some plants
Rosie decided not to have a walk as there was thunder rolling all round the vale again.
This morning I have hung out WMx2 and there is another on the go, but it is looking as if it might rain again.
And just as I typed that, the downpour started. It's stopped almost as quickly as it started, but as I am going out at lunchtime, I have cut my losses and brought most of the still-wet washing back in. Some has gone in the TD, the rest can dry on the airers.
I have also given the kitchen a thorough clean, i.e. most of levels 1 and 2 and some of level 3.
Just had a sit-down with a cuppa to get my breath back, then hoovered the study. All the tools have been taken downstairs, cleaned and put away, and there is very little left in the way of furniture or clutter, so it was a 5-minute job. I will do it thoroughly at the weekend, when I move the beds round for DGS3+4.
DH has been to SW - somehow lost a lb between standing on our scales early this morning and then being weighed in by the consultant
Before he went, we put his bike in the car, and this afternoon he is going to deliver it to a charity in a neighbouring town which teaches young adults with learning difficulties the skills of bike repairs. There is suddenly a lot of room in the shed! Hopefully there will be more later, as I have put 5 things on Freecycle.
Off out now for fish and chips with my Greek friend, then a quick trip to town. See you all later xx

OH and Meem out to work, foster kitten settled in DS2's room.. she is deflea'd now after we found 2 hoppy creatures! Good job I did my 7 on Friday!
I spent an hour cleaning the kitchen and it is probably now worse than when I started.. I have developed a need to throw everything away.I have made a spontaneous sock decision.. if it isn't one of the ones I know we have lots of it is going in the bin.. it may mean I need to buy everyone new socks but thats preferable to pairing 4 wash baskets of odd ones.. quick sort, big fling and short pairing sesh.
My hayfever is shocking still. I am allergic to one of the anihistamines (makes my mouth swell) so I've had to drop one and I can't find anything to replace it with.
fluffs all fed so I need to lunch the girls and I will gut that disgusting kitchen.. I never get chance to clean anywhere else because that takes me all day every day!

Hmmm....I harvested 2 buckets of stones, 1 bucket of weeds, and half a bucket of potatoes. Not sure that is how it is supposed to work 😁. I rushed home as the sky went an ominous black, then it all blew over and the blue sky came back.
2nd load of washing still outside ( one eye being kept on your direction, Iona 😉), hair washed, bathroom given a thorough clean, ditto ensuite. I have flagged so stopped for rations, then I will shine the mirrors and get the vacuum cleaner out as a special treat. Not sure when it last came out, I will probably have to de-web it first!
The kitchen also needs a good clean, but I’m not rating its chances of getting that today.5 -
I have just damp wet dusted my lounge / dining room, it was disgusting, had to change the water twice, but I am told they won't be making any more dust..............................
I don't believe them............
Toilet roll holders have arrived so fix both of them up.Fayolle well done for clearing weeds / stone, I hope the spuds are yummyBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Where is everyone?
This evening I have cut out my curtains and worked out that I have enough material left to make 3 cushion covers
My Freecycle bits are going [fer-ling] and DH got a very warm "Thank you" when he donated his bike, so i think he feels better about it going.7 -
Morning all
WAC again, grrr, long day yesterday at paid stuff but I did get my dailies and some of the lists done. I’ve been gifted a huge bowl of lovely ripe plums from a friend so plan for today needs to include prepping and freezing most of them and making a cake with the rest so they don’t go to waste.
I will shower and get myself ready shortly and then I can do the dailies before starting paid stuff
hope you are all well x7
