Send a pm (Notification) to freeparking22 using the envelope icon near the top right of this page.
If that doesn't work, send everything to everyone. Appeal to the PPC, complaint to the landowner/Lidl CEO etcetera.
I just had a PCN cancelled by sending eight letters of complaint. The one to the landowner worked. I am still waiting for a response from my MP, Lidl CEO, and the BPA.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks3 -
Hi,Thanks for the reply.I PMed freeparking22 and they replied straight away today and confirmed that the Landowner and Aldi didn't reply but the appeal (he posted the text on p8 of this thread) did the trick. He included a copy of his bank statement showing the poundland purchase.I will do the same (but include a copy of my Aldi recript) and post here my results. Thanks for your help.2

Please make sure you both do the two Government Consultations this month! Do it before you forget, and do BOTH of them (below).Calling @freeparking22 as well, and ALL your family too!
AND - please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.
The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.
https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2020-00193#/section
You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting. No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!

An update:I received the following "no help" reply from Aldi customer services on the 25th September:I am writing regarding your correspondence addressed to our CEO, Giles Hurley who has reviewed your email and asked me to respond on his behalf.Thank you for contacting Aldi regarding your recent visit to our Corporation Street, Preston store. I am sorry to hear that you have received a parking charge notice after using the store and I apologise for any distress this has caused you.I have looked into this further for you and as we are not the landowners of this site and did not instruct CARE Parking to manage this car park, we are unable to directly assist with cancelling or appealing this charge. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment caused. As you have used the store on the day, I would recommend submitting an appeal directly with CARE Parking. I would strongly suggest including your purchase receipt, along with details of any mitigating circumstances that may have caused you to overstay to support your appeal. If your appeal is unsuccessful, please contact me further, providing evidence of the response from CARE Parking, and we will be happy to assist in any further way possible.Thank you once again for taking the time to contact us and I hope that this information proves helpful with your appeal.Yours sincerelyRebecca GarrattCustomer Experience TeamI didn't tell them it was "abused patron parking" so she assumed I'd stayed too long.....I am still waiting for the result of my appeal to CARE parking.....

OK, email back and ask for your complaint to be forwarded to the Store Manager to send to the Managing Agent for the retail park, who are the people responsible for Care Parking.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Hi,Sorry didn't see your posts for some reason....I have not complained my MP (yet), but will now email back ALDI and ask for my complaint to be forwarded to the store manager and onto the agent. However have just heard today from Care Parking they are rejecting my appeal on the grounds of their operatives testimony and so it only leaves the POPL route I guess? Is there some help on a thread for preparing an appeal for POPL?Thanks1

just do this to POPLA
It is denied that I left and there is no evidence that I left site at al, the "warden" "parking firm" is unable to produce any evidence of leaving site. I put the parking firm to strict proof with photos of me leaving site which match my government ID"
Please dont bother asking any more questions just do the above and it will win
