As it's e-learning do WAH, with occasional trips in. It will ease you into the working world while allowing you to see where you're overdoing it.
Ask RD to batch cook and freeze it. Not only does it save money, it also frees his time up too.
Mini will thrive at dance class and her trainers are a bargain.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks SW, Skinty and MF
Not sure I’ll be getting trainers for a tenner when mini’s a teen! xD
We didn’t have to pay any nursery fees this month thanks to our grant back payments going through so we’ve managed to save £900! I am trying to push us hard so we can get back on track for house buying. Since February is a nice short month (and our last month of no nursery fees) I’ve set myself a stretch goal of saving £1200. I’ll have to really watch our spending and try hard with prolific/vinted selling but I think it’ll be a fun challenge.I’m going to pick mini up for dance and then we’re going to hide inside for the rest of the day because the wind is MAD! All the roof tiles were coming off her dance studio, it was a bit scary! Think I will make some pesto pasta for lunch and we can play with playdo and watch a movie.
My dad started chemo this week so no seeing my parents til I’m over my current coldfingers crossed for next weekend.

Impressive savings and the goal looks good too.
Fingers and toes are crossed. You'll be seeing them soon and have a few more days to fully recover yourself.
The weather is supposed to hit again later, stay in and have fun with mini.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks MF
that wind was crazy! Thankfully it’s settled down today so we got to play in the back yard for a bit.
Have been having a lengthy saga with my car tyres which I won’t go into here but basically I’m going to have to replace them all. To be fair the back ones are 9 years old apparently so they’ve had a good run!2 -
The next storm is to hit this evening, I'm not sure if you're going to get caught by it too.
You've had good use out the tyres, is the fault definitely them and not with the wheels?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Great to hear about you in your new job! You saved such an impressive amount last year, v inspirational!2

We did get another storm, MF! Did you get hit badly? We nearly lost our recycling bin but other than that all fine. Think it was a bit of a combo of the wheels and the tires, but the tires definitely needed doing as they were all cracked and old, have had them all replaced and the wheels cleaned and balanced so should be all fine now! £300 + £10 for the taxi. So my month of saving is not off to a great start!
Thanks Atrixa! Fingers crossed we can keep it going this year.
Our holiday that we've been trying to take since 2020 has been pushed back again because of my dad's chemo (and we didn't want to go without him) so I've booked us 3 nights in a caravan park in June instead. It's not fancy but there's loads of activities and a big pool so I think we'll have a great time. I've paid £60 deposit and another £180 due in April.3 -
We got the other storm and another today! Work took a couple of hits in the storms, but not my office.
Not a bad price for a full set and balancing. At least you don't have to worry for a few years.
The holiday will be fun!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
