Morning ruby (waves)
Round 1 completed. I still can't taste anything - no news re: results yet, but DS's GF has been 'let go' by her employer. She wants to find a job this side of the Bridge but is upset all the same. We'll get through - we always have before (somehow). If all else fails I'll buy them a new bed and they'll have to live here for a while. We have a roof over our heads, clean water, and food. It'll be reet!
Round 2 =
peg out WM load 2
set jeans swishing
breathe

Morning all, and welcome back ruby_eskimo [waves]
A slow start here today, after another WAC night (cramp!), and I've already spent too much time trying to find a place to meet up with DD and DGS1+2 one day next week, about equidistant from our homes - few places are open *and* allow dogs if we can't get Rosie into kennels (currently fully booked, but...) *and* are easily accessible by DH.
Yesterday evening I sorted the fridges and the freezer drawers, so does that count?
Strawberry Challenge certificates finally sent off by email and prizes all sorted, finances checked, breakfast eaten, DW filled, sides wiped down, sink cleaned.
Currently 26 views, 7 watchers, and one offer pending on EeeByGum
Enormous respect to asb and I hope your DD has caught up with some sleep xx
[Waves] to skinty, and fingers crossed you don't have to wait 3 hours to get into the tip xx
(((Hugs))) to YL xx
Hope the appointment for your DD goes well, Fayolle xx
Have a great holiday, pigpen! [high five]
Now I must
- wrap prizes, post those I can't deliver in person
- 3 more EeeByGum listings and one Freecycle
- hoover and dust all through downstairs and upstairs - I have at last brought the old heavy Dy$0n upstairs (don't want to ruin the new one with plaster dust), possibly permanently, if I can find a suitable corner
- steam mop kitchen floor
- clean ensuite and bathroom9 -
Morning lovelies,
I was out of the house by 7am, have done a paid for cleaning job for a friend which helps her and me. I have also flung three bin liners of clothes into the charity shop, paid a cheque and some cash in, posted two letters, bought two cards, posted a parcel, bought some essentials in the co-op, dealt with a lot of post, put the recycling bin out for collection, and shuffled some money into savings (yes, I actually have a very small savings pot now 👏🏻👏🏻😊).I haven't eaten yet so an early lunch is on the cards before the children return from their visit to the park with a friend. I am sure there is more that can be gotten rid of from their rooms too so I'll head up with a bin bag after lunch.Iona I wish you were nearer I would happily look after Rosie for you.
Take care all xx9 -
Morning roudtuit *waves back* Fingers crossed it's just a random thing and not CV related and sorry to hear about DS's GF - I think a lot more people are going to lose their jobs before this all over
Went to put a wash on just now and realised that the towels I put in to wash on Friday were still sitting in the machine. Gave them a refresh on a 30 minute cycle and are now drying on the line. Good morning!
I have been for a run (run 3 week 5 couch 2 5K), showered & breakfasted. WM is on, and DW has finished. I can hear DH cleaning up in the kitchen, so I might just leave him to it!
'1st' of the month money juggle done. I need to go shopping (again!!) Working 3 days this week, with children that will actually talk to me! And ask lots of questions...... it will be a shock to the system. I will need to get them out somewhere, as they are a little hyper active! Wish me luck!
Round I hope you get your results soon, and that it is good news. Sorry to hear about DS's GF. Things have a way of working out for the best, I'm sure of it
I think I am going to make a shopping list, hang out the washing & put another load in and do a little paper admin (I need to do some filing and shredding). Then I will go shopping. I was hoping to get to the allotment. It rained heavily here this morning, but it is sunny again now. The weeds will be springing up!!
Have a good day everyone8 -
OOPs...slept in this morning. Missed breakfast but I've just finished my elevenses. Kitchen in desparate need of attention, as is fridge. Better make a start.
Welcome back Ruby Eskimo
Had to open an ebay case for a NPB; - person only has 1 feedback and now will end up with a strike. I knew he wouldn't pay - it's a collect and he's too far away - but if he had been in touch I would have cancelled no problem. How rude of me! Thanks Valli for the list, and thanks Natty for last week! I do apologise for my lack of manners!! That kitchen list looks mega today! I will try my best......7

Mondailies are done, dogs have been to enclosed dog field and I'm about to put third wash load in machine. Also did a little weeding in garden and got some admin done. I'm now going to spend the afternoon in the garden reading although I do need to walk the dogs and pick up my prescription later.Spend less now, work less later.8

Thanks for lists.
Made Mr N's birthday cake.
Did flower arrangement for Mum.
Packed.
Organised hanging baskets etc and put near greenhouse so neighbour can water them easily.
Put away dry washing.
Excitement as the gf flour I ordered actually arrived- first I've found since March.
Cleaned loos, emptied compost and all the other stuff you do before going away.
Reasonable journey, scary as we've been nowhere for ages let alone driven 130miles, but now with my Mum till Thurs. Beach running?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10
