Gah! WAC member here - I've given up trying to sleep!
Valli those biscotti look delish! Another recipe to try sometime...
Great news that you've sorted the drain problem ASB - kudos to you for digging and fixing the problem yourself! Go girl!
I'm not really a seaside person, but hoping you get some beach time today Piggers! Digging a hole to pee into made me chuckle.
Kaz - hope the "odd behaviour" of some family members dissolves today. Sounds rather strange?
Anyway, I've got a full-on chicken day today, but will try to fly later x10 -
Morning all. We're both up too. Cloudy and a little cooler today so I'll probably do more in the garden. Visitors later and a roast dinner has been requested so I'll get the prep out of the way for that.have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11

Morning all,Thanks for the love yesterday, it was lovely reading all your messages last night 😊😊 I ache today in places I didn't know I had, but it's been sooo worth it. I am trying to source an old chimney to use as a feature in that spot, they are going for crazy money who knew?!So far today I have unloaded the DW, we will take the dog for a short walk soon whilst it's cool. Easy dinner of oven pizzas for tea, and an early night will be on the cards I reckon.Kaz - that behaviour sounds very odd and certainly wouldn't be tolerated by me. Manners are of utmost priority and the fact they haven't spoken to you at all is plain rude and there is no excuse at all for that. Even if they are unwell or chronically shy, a simple 'hello, it's nice to see you' isn't hard. Let us know how you get on xx9

Morning all
So DH and DS were getting up early to go fishing and I was going off to the coast to do a nice 7 mile walk before the crowds were out and about. DS is still hard fast asleep so it looks like those plans are out of the window. Of course I could just go anyway but DH might come with me now.
Anyway mealplanning to do and some plans to make for the week. Need to check finances too.8 -
Morning all
Been and watered the allotment while it’s still cool. Back for a cup of tea and some breakfast. We have some friends popping in for coffee on their way from A to B. Weird as they must have done that trip hundreds of times over the years and have never felt the need to pop in before...
Other jobs that I may do today: meal planning, HHI, clean downstairs. Or I may not, and just wilt like yesterday.Have a lovely day all and stay cool.8 -
Good morning lovely ladies xx
asb - well done xx May your drains flow free forever more xx
I've been up since 6.30 and all I've done is sup my first brew and browse on social media. Sorry, not sorry. I've enjoyed the peace. Just Sweetie and me starting the day together v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y. DS and GF are still giving it big zzzzzzs upstairs. Everything feels still. Serious chillaxing start to the day
I'm going to set a load swishing in WM, then have another brew and some breakfast.
Have a good day y'all hear.

Morning all.
Kaz,
Just wondering if the parents have drummed social distancing into their children so hard that they are afraid to come near you?I
I was up making a cuppa at 3.15, it was so hot! Opened all the curtains and windows upstairs, piled up the pillows, drank tea and mooched around on the K1ndle until about 5, by which time it was decidedly chilly! Snuggled back under my duvet and went back to sleep until 7.15, so eventually managed a normal night's sleep.
So far I have done WM x1 of 2, sanded down the filler in the bathroom, paid for my greengrocery delivery, eaten breakfast, and emulsioned the bathroom patches - it looks pretty good in there now
Need to hang out 1st load of washing, start 2nd load and visit MrAl, just in case DH gets a positive result and we are cut off from the world.
Stay cool and have a nice day xx7 -
Round 1 done + pegged out first load of washing and set second load swishing; wrapped DS's GF's birthday present and wrote on her card - birthday is 12th but this afternoon they are going back to pigpen land for a few days so she can take it with her.
Not sure how many cans there were to rinse and recycle - but I now have my draining board back and can make a start on pot washing. I know how to live the high life!!!
Round 2 =
Sweetie's seed
WUDUPA a bowl of pots

Two loads of washing are on my new whirly washing line. I need more pegs. Garden is watered but I can't be bothered to do anything else out there at the moment. DH and I have been for a walk and I've ironed four shirts, done the dailies and prepped dinner for tonight. DH is just off to the shop for bread for lunch and I am going to read my book while I have peace and quiet this afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.10
