Valli - they look amazing!
How is anyone achieving anything in this heat? Worked for 2 hours. Work paperwork completed. First washing load on, dish washer on, ordered some clothes online as I'm going nowhere if I don't have to. Might try a bit of general tidying up but unlikely if I'm honest11 -
Too. Hot.
Well done you, ASB! Gold stars and big applause. In total awe...
Fantastic biscotti, Valli. DD makes them every Christmas for us. I have no intention of learning to make them, as I just enjoy eating them when she has done them. Oh to be in Italy on holibobs....2 hours + weeding, watering, picking. I have muscles in my thighs that weren’t there this morning. Veg needs sorting and prepping / freezing, but darn it, I am going to take a book out into the shade, and pretend to be reading up recipes for said veg. DH wants pesto alla trapanese tonight, so I need to check up on how to make it...8 -
Well done ASB, so satisfying to solve a problem yourself, hope your drains remain clear for many years
Valli, looks tasty i'm about to make some Greek Yoghurt and Banana Muffins as i have some of each to use up.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:10 -

Cheering for you asb, fingers crossed you have sorted it (when blokes attempted and failed). Kaz that sounds really awkward and disappointing, hope the weekend gets better.
Pigpen hope you got more beach time today, sounds lovely. I might take myself off to the coast tomorrow and do a walk while DS and DH are fishing.
I have done 3 hours studying - I have 18 days to submit the final two assignments. Teatowels boil washed, out on the line, back in and ironed. Inventory of freezer and cupboards done, not done upstairs stores yet. Pizza dough in bread maker, half hour HIIT done first thing. Utility room tidied and some cardboard ripped up to go in recycling. Oh and I have been going through recipes for some new ideas.
A bit of a breeze is getting going here so its much cooler than it was.

Brilliant work asb - you're a star 🌠
I have packed up the cow and taken it to the PO; decluttered £££ on paint and shelving uprights; visited DS1 &Co on the way home from the DIY store, taking prizes and presents and bringing back plants and bulbs; and then sat and watched Poirot and LIOLI because it was so hot. Cooling down now, so I will take Rosie for her walk and cook tea later. Then I might do some sanding in the bathroom .
DH went for his retest this morning and has done little else.9 -

Morning all
WAC checking in, not too much planned for today, a bit of paid stuff and a few garden jobs will be done before it gets too hot. DH and I have booked a socially distanced visit to relatives next weekend so we will also make some firmer plans around that.
have a good day all, stay cool and hydrated xx8
