Anyone currently applying through Barclays? MA is off - need realistic timelines

Not now - but back in 2006 I had a Barclaycard issue - nothing on my credit file and it was paid off in the end.
I do have variable pay too on top of a very good basic - so it’s whether they’re ok with that.
I keep hearing they have a blacklist and wondering whether anything comes up as Barclaycard is part of Barclays

Trust me if that’s all your worrying about you need not so long as your basic would give you the mortgage you require alone?

My basic alone would be about 5k short of what I need, but then I get 8K OT per annum minimum - supported by multi P60 statements.
@pearsforlife - your words are encouraging, thanks for the support.
I could make the 5K temporarily by downsizing the car, but MA told me I didn’t need to.
He has also told me not to worry but until I have a offer in my hand I’m gonna be worried 😢😢
